I just harvested several pounds of pure thai sativa and columnian flower. Its good quality, its a high you cant get anwhere else anymore. But way better no it wont be.


The potency of the modern lineages is orders of magnitude greater then those plants. Its just that these modern plants grow like pugs compared to bull mastiffs with those old sativas. They make incredible breeding stock. Its nice to have the flowers for that oldschool chinese-eyed happy go lucky buzz thats not in the modern flower.


gimme just a minute and ill take some shots of columbian sativa flower along side some of my modern top shelf stuffs.

That you will never convince me of. All this garbage out out today is exactly that. Garbage. I'll take a true landrace over any of this over bred crap any day. Besides do you really know what you are buying? NO you do not. My last 6 were the "same strain" yet they were all different and ended up being about as good as hemp. They came from Herbie's. It's all trash.

I love growing bag seeds, but haven’t seen dirt weed in quite some time. I’d say to date I’ve had pretty decent success with bag seed and it’s accounted for at least 60% of my grows since 2018. I’m currently in seedling stage with three seeds found in a dispensary bought 1/2 ounce that were Mexican land race crossed with Columbian land

Nice sir. Very nice. This was actually my best outdoor season to date.

my columbian hit 13ft tall 16ft wide and was topped several times to keep it shorter early on lol. Top of that nets a lil over 8ft in the pics you can see it.

That's where I got seed for that beast of a plant I posted but came out of Colorado somewhere. I miss that old pressed nugs. We usually got the better loads of it here but it grew the funkiest bud I ever grew. Nothing I ever bought from a seed bank has came close to it and I believe it never will.

As someone who's been messing with these plants for the better part of a decade or more. Including old land race sativa's and stuff.


All I gotta say there is lol. If those old brick sativa's genuinely grew higher quality cannabis then any seedbank seeds you've ever had I strongly suggest avoiding whatever seed bank you were using lmao.


These plants have fantastic qualities to the high. There strong enough to smoke as flower if you manage your tolerance. Their vigor is def unheard of and incredibly desirable for breeding.


But to compare the flower quality of those old land racey sativa's with modern flower is quite frankly so far past absurd it makes my jaw hang a bit lmao.


I suppose you could directly compare the two of you wanted. But the comparison neither informs nor teaches anything because the plants aren't comparable. They're two very different things.

Columbian up close. And a pheno I made using the Columbian plants and some breeding.

Those old sativa seeds give you better plants.

They do not give you better flower lol. Or everyone would be growing them. That takes intentful selective breeding with them

Or you don't have good seeds? I'm a medical patient who has smoked for decades and I have grown plenty of stuff that will rip your head off. I would change seed banks if I were you. That one is not the greatest to go with...

I use a lot of plastic milk containers to mix fert water and when they leak I cut them up for plant info that I can wire to the plants. After chopping, drying and removing the flowers I put the plastic tags in the bag or bucket. Works great and they're free
