So I’m in my third grow right now and I’m running fox farm brown bag I forgot what it’s called but it’s a super soil it worked great the other times I used it so I keep using it. My PH is at 5.8 my ppm is at 300 and i keep my humidity at 65% and temp around 77F with the VPD as close to .9 as possible but obviously fluctuates a lot. And I do use a exhale CO2 bag which had definitely increased my grow but they are starting to look weird and idk what to do.

Hey there, I’m doing my first grow in 20 years and have the same issue with all the newer growth. After the leaves mature a bit the leaves seem to adjust and become more green and even in color. I would have to agree with Natep. Too much or too intense light.
I noticed when I turned the intensity of my light up the problem got worse and when I turned it back down they got better. They still do this but don’t seem to be stressed otherwise so I’m just going to roll with it.

Update: so I turned my lights down to 25% (was on 50%) and they are looking so so so much better. Thank you all that was such an easy fix I can’t believe I had to ask someone what to do. Thank you all

Also. I just flipped my plants to flower and have been giving them nothing but water up to here considering I’m using fox farm super soil. Do I need to give them anything considering the fact or just keep giving them water.

Watch your ph, in soil you want it closer to 6.5-6.8. Hydro is 5.8 and coco is 6.2

I would. Are you using Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil? If so, amending some high P & K fertilizer would help. I would also water in some Epsom Salt to the water at 1 tablespoon per gallon. I add blooming nutrients about a week before I change the light schedule.

VPD should be higher. About 1.2 would be good for flowering. So, I'd lower the RH to mid 50%.

I’m using fox farm happy frog potting soil. I put 1ml of each of the 3 part bloom, micro, grow for one gallon and am using RO water. I need to boost the PH cause I been doing 6 not 6.4 to 6.5 so hopefully that won’t affect them that much and am running Exhale CO2 bag. Also will adjust VPD cause I been running that at .8 to maybe 1 depending on variables.

What should it be in organics? I know people say the soil will buffer the ph however depending on the alkalinity of the water, if it’s above 75ppm you need to adjust it
My ppm after the RO is about 25 to 30 with the 3 part micro, grow and bloom added

How long should I add 1 tbsp water f epsom salt for per gallon? And what’s the reasoning for the salt if you don’t mind me asking. Just curious and like to learn

epson salt is magnesium sulfate MgSo4 its used to supliment magnesium in plants.led lamps have this strange effect on plants that they force higher use of magnesium.

you can eat it as well but you will shit water if you eat too much.
recepie i use is 0.265g per L of water.if you started noticing magnesium deficency you should do almost daily watering with it. but i dont know how much is good for soil.

allsoo you can do foliar feed with it

If I fed them daily wouldn’t that over water? I use self watering pots from xfinity

WHat i meant is to add it to your regular feeding.
I dont know if epson salt will leave residue in your pipes you should check that out

Another question I now have is I am switching my light up to the AC infinity IONFRAME EVO10 and am wondering if that light is gonna be enough to produce nice dense buds and support my plants.
