First grow. This is 21 days from sprout. They are in 2liter pots. Transplanted them and they didn’t look as bunched up as I’ve seen from other people before. Didn’t think of taking a video until after I started sprinkling recharge on there. Roots are mostly nice and white but I noticed some yellowing in areas. Thank you for any help or advice
Side note: I’m starting to get annoyed when people say oh it’s so easy just grow your own. Nahh this shit is hard and nerve wracking but I love it at the same time lol

It gets easier. There's just a lot to be learned.

They are in 2liter pots.
I don't like to let them get that rootbound. Then again, that's typical of plants grown in plastic pots.

Hello mate! Yes, stuff is hard at first, will be easy later on, with the experience. Now I see a degradation on the leaves and root porn, transplant into bigger pot and give more light

Not enough oxygen in the root zone would be my guess. Looks like over watering. Just my opinion and where I would start. I would up pot into the final pot size and I would use a fabric pot. It helps with oxygen and the root-bound problems.

What's the media? How often and how much are you watering?
It’s about 60coco/20worm castings/20perlite
They were getting about 150-200ml a day and got about 40-60ml runoff and the runoff was 6.1 ph 1.7 ec//5.9ph 2770ms
I just moved them to 3gal yesterday tho. I will update in a couple days. I wasn’t watering until runoff before and there wasn’t good enough drainage. Ec levels in the runoff are sky high in the other ones that went into 1g earlier. Those are at like 5.3ms- 5.8ms. I’ve gotten my feedings more scheduled now so hoping it drops

Yeah for sure. Some stuff is getting easier but at times I’m feeling like I’m trying to kill these things hahaha. Yeah I hate these pots. I think they are self watering pots but I popped off the bottom and later drilled 3 more holes. I thought they were going to save me a transplant. Next time I think I’ll start in solo cups but not sure if I should go to 1g before the 3g or not

Thank you for your advice. Could you please explain root porn tho? I’ve never heard of that before hahaha. I transplanted them into 3g pots yesterday. My light is the ac infinity evo6 at about 20in from the canopy at 40% I don’t have a ppfd meter. They are definitely stunted from all my mistakes and I planted them too deep and then top filled later. Some of the cotleyden leaves are laying on the media. I was trying to get them to stretch into the light a little and then slowly start to raise intensity and height

Thank you for your advice. I thought the same I have others in fabric pots that look much better. I moved these into final homes of 3g fabric pots yesterday I will update in a few days with results. The others are in 1g pots. I realized later that’s not ideal to have to go into the 3s next. When would you suggest I move those?

After transplanting the 2 sad ones

That looks better. Give them a few days to adjust.
Thank you 🤝
When do you think I should move the ones in the 1g into the 3g? The one in the back right has been kinda my tester I guess. Play with that one first and see how it responds before I make changes to the others

Root porn is another way of saying awesome pictures of roots from mostly weed plants. I guess if someone was into their hydrangeas they could share the roots and that would be root porn as well : ) or “weed porn” really nice pics of a plant. It’s like “smut” but with weed : )
