@BB22 There was like ten on ground at one time earlier right before landfall. (Quoting never works for me at this time of night lol)

There's gonna be an afternoon #5 on PB2 😭

Turns out I'm not gonna get a day off of trimming before PB3 is ready 🙄 Maybe I'll get a day off between PB3 and my Biggs pheno.

Morning all 😶‍🌫️

Damn this gallon challenge Gary Payton x Okie X 2012 cement shoes is throwin all 11 finger leaves too 🤌

Rearranged plants to even out the tops then bumped power up from 500w to 600w 750ppfd ——> 900ppfd

Gave a new top dress to them all, still 100% organic up in here

So, random "high" thought of the day....

Is cloning considered high stress to the plant? Specifically the clone, if high stress usually cause negative attributes to display, why doesn't that become apparent after continual cycles of cloning?

Probably not even worth discussing, but it popped in my head while I was taking my morning deuce

I’d say yeah, definitely high stress. But it’s done during the veg phase and if you’re dealing with feminized plants you might be taking cuttings before the plant shows signs of what sex it is, not much concern. I think most of the negative stress responses caused by high stress training happen later in veg phase or during flower. So……. Yeah. I don’t know, good question though.

Totally those 🤔 type of questions that isn't really important probably

Not necessarily, you might be on to something, and I bet more experienced growers might have a sweet spot timeframe where they will or won’t take clones . I’m just not very experienced with successful cloning practices. I’ve taken a few from plants in mid to late flower and they kinda just slow down the growth rate and really take a while to come back around. I’ve got three particular plants at home right now that I’m trying to reveg. I know that revegging a clone late in flower is a very slow process.

I’ve noticed my clones off the XXs are a little more sensitive to my shed antics🤷‍♂️ had to back off the feeding and get the light as far away from them as possible (completely ass backwards from what I did on my first run)

can cause negative attributes to express during the stress periods yes.

ime though, stressing vegging plants often equates to interesting expressions in flower you wouldnt have got other ways with the same clones. I intentionally stress harden my plants before flower. It definitely ups average resin content. Sometimes it hampers terps, sometimes it expands the profile. Definitely* makes them easier to take cxare of and perform better with less hand holding through flower.

Def dont use high stress techniques actively in flower is how i go about it, but in veg its all gravy in my experience. Other very experienced and successful growers will also disagree with me on the no high stress in flower. Because that too can increase resins and terp expression and have great results. I just much prefer not to personally. Especiall on fem seeds.

Yup looks like something out of my regular recurring nightmares 🤣

Actually, if I did draw some of the things from my nightmares they'd probably lock me up, throw away the key, and then make comic books based off my drawings 🤣
