So…

I’m just wondering what I should do about trichomes maturing early…really early lol.

Day 39 from flip!

Never really had this problem before now!

Would like to hear some opinions!

Have you noticed any bug issues. I circled 2 spots that are questionable. Love that purple color coming out. Hope I’m wrong about the bug thing!😬

Yeah. It’s just shit that blew onto my plant when I was watering in the garage or something.

By the looks of the pistils, she still has time.

Did you look at trichomes with a loupe or microscope?
Certain way light hits trichomes can make them look cloudy when they're not. I've seen them look amber from a nearby pistil and light hitting it just right.

Are the cloudy trichomes on the buds themselves or the leaves? Trichomes on leaves can turn cloudy/amber a bit before the actual bud trichomes do.

Thanks man.

You’re probably right about just not seeing it in the right light because the light on my loupe died lol

You could try and use a flashlight or cell phone screen to light up the bud more to see if it looks different but I definitely think you have a bit more time based on the pistils.

Grow looks good though 👍

What strain?

I’m just messing around with a few experiments this run anyways lol.

I’m actually going to hit my other tent with Winter Frost by New Millennium pretty heavy at around the same flowering time because I want to see if it actually finishes that early.

I’ll let you know how it goes lol.

I’ve been growing the same S1 seeds from a self pollinated clone. The clone produced 8-10 seeds out of about 6oz.
The last one I grew started finishing up really early…..I didn’t do anything any different and the buds were identical in all ways to the previous ones. Some phenos just finish early so I’m told.
I harvested a few weeks ago at approx day 56…..the others were 68-70 days. I wish I’d let her go another week after sampling it.
Your buds have some time left for sure. Give her time to swell and ripen. Trichs can be cloudy and stay that way for a long time. It’s not gonna suddenly become overrripe…..I always wait on a few ambers to be present throughout all the buds.

Thanks for the solid info!
It’s turned out to be an absolute frost factory compared to the others, but the buds are pretty average size. I was just looking at the little stuff down low, and it’s crazy how frosty even the little ones are getting!

Turns out y’all were right!
I bought a handheld Wi-Fi microscope to avoid any confusion in the future, and honestly, I recommend EVERYONE BUY ONE!!

VEVOR makes one that’s on sale right now for like $26, and it’s amazing!

Like up to 1000x, and you can use your phone or iPad!

While I’m still happy with these flowers, I don’t think this is the keeper…

I’ve seen better lol.

Smells like grape skittles and Sprite!

I just started the UVB yesterday, and I’ll keep you posted on how that goes as well!
