Okay, I know I had another winter thread but doing photo periods during winter sounds too hard. Maybe next year.

Bought a whole slew of auto seeds cuz I have an impulse problem. Tried one so far, it isn’t doing well so I will have to give these tender loving care.

I think I got impatient and fucked with the other auto, first mistake, and let it get sunburnt, second mistake.

This round I will germinate seeds in water float, then stick them in 7 gallon fabric pots. Soil is going to be native clay, perlite, horse dookie, and gaia green.

I had selected these six at first, but rather than doing two rounds of 6, I’m gonna do one round of 12. Maybe I can squeeze a pound out. Not likely lol.

Brainstorming now, when I get home from work I’ll start mixing dirt and prepping.

Advice is welcome.

Sorry for the double post I suck at internetting.

Okay, mixed up soil. Got horse shit, saturated it and broke it up real nice like. Then the dirt, perlite, gaia. I’m worried I didn’t put enough food in there but it’s easier to add than remove.

pulled out the 7 gallon bags and thought that they were just too big for trying to grow outdoor in the winter. Opted for some smaller plastic ones my wife had. Maybe bigger isn’t better?

Anyways, gonna go float seeds now

I don’t know about autos! The colder environment of a greenhouse in winter might slow down their growth! Which is the last thing you want with autos! Unless you can keep the temp up inside there. Just being negative as usual!

Probably right!

Out of the last two autos I tried one died, the other is about the height of my index finger. so the bar for this is real low.

mostly curious about the cooler temps affecting the colors. And avenging my wounded ego 💀

Get ready to place heaters in there. And you have 2 autoflower threads? Are you hanging a grow light in that greenhouse? Your gonna get this type of auto if you dont have enough light or heat. Don't mean to be a downer i sure would'nt do a outdoor grow with autos in the winter i guess you got enough seed to waste though by the looks of it.

Yeah, I had accidentally started the same thread twice.

It’s still pretty warm where i’m at. I wanna ride out the last couple weeks of decent weather then yeah probably move them in the greenhouse with supplemental light.

I’m also open to this being a dismal failure 😂

rushed planting between water polo and basketball games. Hope they’re okay.

All seeds had cracked a bit. Sprinkled a little great white in the hole before dropping in. Drilled holes in clear plastic cups for a make shift humidity done.

Half is a fruity pack from zamnesia, five more are f1 autos also from zamnesia. and one blueberry big devil by seed supreme in its redemption round.

Staying true to its name, pineapple express has broken ground first. Blue cheese is also up but the cup has too much condensation for a picture.

I feel better. Heat wave is passing, about 10’degrees cooler today. First couple have popped up. What I’m doing is working 🤞

That sounds like a busy day! 🏀🏊‍♂️ Fingers crossed those seeds pull through—sounds like you’ve got them off to a good start with the Great White boost and that DIY humidity dome! 🌱✨ Love that you're giving the Blueberry Big Devil a redemption round—let’s hope this one shines! If you need anything as they sprout, we're here for ya. Happy growing! 🌿👊

Okay, haven’t gotten pictures but believe me I’m keeping a mildly obsessive eye

5/12 of the autos have sprouted. Pineapple express, strawberry cough, jack herer, frosted guava and blue cheese. 7 more to go, sure they will follow suit here soon.

Planning to lst them veeeeery gently just to see. The weather is finally calming the fuck down. Plan to get them set up in the green house with supplemental lighting soon.

I’m hoping to get an ounce a plant, a dream would be pulling a pound from the 12. Let’s see if I fuck it up 💀

evidence of life!

Ah, I totally feel you—it happens to the best of us sometimes! 💔 8 weeks can be a long haul, and sometimes plants just don't want to cooperate. The important part is you're giving it another shot with that redemption round! 💪 Keep the positive vibes flowing, and hopefully, this one will turn into something special. 🌱✨

If you ever need tips or suggestions along the way, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re rooting for you (pun intended)! 😎🌿

Okay weather has changed like a motherfucker. When I planted these six days ago we were in the 100’s.

moved these little ladies into the green house. We are still only at 50% germination. The pots that did pop were mostly on the same side, curious if that affected anything.

I know I have the pots a bit on the wet side. Ive only grown in fabric pots and it was fucking not so I got a little eager. Hoping they haven’t drowned.

Anyways, it’s been six days, if they don’t pop up soon it’s probably a no go. Maybe the green house temps will get everything in line 🤞

even if only six make it, and I can pull an ounce per plant with LST, it’s a win.

Once I can monitor the greenhouse for a day and make sure it’s not holding heat too well I need to get lights set up.

Also have three plants to trim, laundry, kitchen and bathroom are tore up, and I haven’t even burned one down yet
