The manure digester is an enzymatic mixture that breaks down manure.

I'm really curious on what it will do to the seabird guano.

I mix SeaBird guano, castings, malted barley/corn, and Azomite and sprinkle bokashi over it as a preflower boost. 3 days later I peal back the mulch cover and my boxes are completely white with mycelium.

That's amazing how much mycelium forms in just 3 days.

Is there a reason why you don't let it go longer then 3?

I don't touch it. I'm sure its still there. I usually have feeder roots sticking out of the top of the soil because my boxes are always covered by the plastic 'mulch' cap.
