As far as I know, it’s living soil! I don’t feed them anything all year, except Water! Whatever the hell that is! And I will throw some recharge on them every once in a while! Maybe that’s why mine are such runts!😂✌️

No, that soil isn't living. There is nothing in it to keep it alive. Microorganisms need food too. In ground is normally always living soil. Pots can be too, but it requires work. The sun destroys the life I'm talking about. Think about a native flower field. There is no bare ground. It is a field of flowers and grasses.

I just go by results! I’m only doing what mother nature told me to do three years ago when we had A Vulcan mind meld session! Around here, there is plenty of bare ground in those fields! And nothing is green! This is as close as you can get to a desert, without being surrounded by sand and camels!

Maybe Mine is living soil during the winter! When all the amendments are breaking down? All organic! So then, when spring rolls around, the soil is full of plant , available nutrients! I don’t know! I just try and do what works, organically! And the first couple of years, what I was trying wasn’t working! L O L! Kind of sounds like where are you and cpurrr Are right now!

Yeah, I know two totally different climates! You’ll figure out what works or die trying!😍 Just keep an open mind like I know you do!

Nope! Not the first or second! But finally got it on track somewhat! Will always be a crapshoot! Probably did about like you on the first! Wasn’t particularly happy but took what I got! You seen this before! Second year wasn’t happy either, but mother nature slapped my mind open, and I started to listen to her! You’re just in a rough place to grow outdoors! I wouldn’t even do it back there! More power to all of you!👍

I'm certain you definitely did not have 5 pounds of anything on your first grow.

Not hung up on anything. Was asking if she felt that helped with the disease spread. 😁
Possible, maybe probable, but was a goofy weather season. Next year may be entirely different. But you know that. LOL Your weather is similar to mine.

I remember one of our first convos after you found out where I was. You said I've only seen one person try to grow there and he did not succeed. You also said it could've just been him. 🤣🤣🤣 Isn't easy, but definitely doable. My younger plants taught me younger may be better for my area. They didn't have the disease or bug damage my others did.

Yes, @cpurola. Our weather is goofy as is. Throwing changes like we got this year, just make it that much more goofy. Had I had all the rain and humidity that is normal for here, I probably would not have had anything to harvest.

Well, no nap today, God dammit! Funny how Time flies when you’re talking shit and harassing people! Time to roll up a hasher and head to my happy place! The playpen! Maybe chop a few branches, and start getting ready for trimming! Need to warm up! Gotta Ease into it! Done replacing batteries! Ha ha!

The problem I’m having is I’m going to have a lot of bud also don’t want 60 jars to burp and forget
So I should check them monthly or more
I use the plastic storage containers with a light blue foam seal. I know people hate plastic but it works for me.
Picked them up at Menards.
And mine oxidized too, like chucky's.

I think that for long term storage low humidity is better.
Kept some from last year at about 40% humidity and its still perfect.

It may be closer to 50%, those cheap assed hygrometers are inconsistant.
Bought a bunch off ebay a couple years ago and have to re-calibrate them before using.
I see what the correct humidity is on the stat inside, pop the backs off, move the needle to proper number then put it back on.
Not the best but it's all I need. 🙂

I use 5 gallon food safe buckets. I have to hammer the tops on to seal, they have a rubber gasket to make them airtight. Works great for curing, no fuss no muss. Burping 6 buckets is quicker than 50 mason jars.
