NOAA releases winter weather outlook

These are the winters I love. Warmer and drier then normal for sunny so cal. We've had a couple of wet and cold winters, last year was one of the worst so looking forward to a great winter grow season

Yeah I know, I'd hate it too. I don't know how you guys deal with -1000F🤣

In Feb 1981 I flew into O'Hara for a 2 wk training with a company I was working for at the time. It was -40, -81F windchill when I arrived. I put on all the clothes I brought for the taxi ride to the hotel, 30 miles away. I left fingernail marks in the seat. Y'all drive like maniacs in the ice🤣 for the first week the TV and radio warned "Do not go outside for more than 5 minutes" over and over every break. DAMN! It gets below 50 here and I'm in a snowsuit🤣 with long johns🤣🤣 and a wool cap🤣🤣🤣 I feel for ya, I really do😳 but I've been waiting for this winter for the past few years😉 I've had winters where the buds wouldn't mature, just all airy buds. Sucked.
Prime example of why the Marines gave me a ticket to California from Ohio and I just conveniently never returned. I went from cold rain and snow to the San Diego beaches in February 😁

Is that per feeding? Like 15 gallons combined? Or alternating between the two?
The tent that’s my veg. Space takes only half the amount of nutrients or feed by volume, but most of those are potted up into 3 gallons and 5 gallons so I have a lot more medium to saturate with those but the way that I have it set up in there With a high amount of airflow, passive and circulation they’re drying out really freaking fast, especially the pots that I punched holes in So I’ll say in terms of using the entire 5 gallons in the veg tent every feed that’s you know within a 1 gallon deviation if they don’t take it all But they’re eating it quick and they’re loving all of it so I’m feeding them every two days just like the rest of them

You don't miss the 4 seasons or the snow?
In all fairness I do get 4 seasons up in the mountains and it does snow up here in the winter but it's nothing like the Lake Effect Snow and wind chill o'death with darkness for months on end. Oh and the important part! No slush. 🤣

Lots of people that work at the club are sick atm.

The responsibility for running the club member's trunk or treat tomorrow for the kids/grandkids fell into my lap unexpectedly today. Funny thing though, im getting pretty sick pretty quickly. And not just saying it either lol.

Which mountain(s)? East County? We've talked about moving near Lake Cuyamaca in the past, too old now but we still love to visit as well as the Lake Morena area😉

If you were in downtown Bakersfield, I'm a little over an hour due East in the mountains right outside of Lake Isabella. It's one of the few places that you can get an amazing house with land (1 acre+) for around $250-300k or less. I've lived everywhere from Santa Rosa to San Diego and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. 3 traffic lights and less than 12,500 people collectively among all of the communities. And EVERYBODY smokes and grows here. Cannabis is the State Flower around these parts.

Si. I assumed you were down here, still in SD. Best friend moved to Bakersfield several years ago. Our happy place is on the other side of that mountain range, Bishop area. We've discussed moving there as well. I use to go skiing up your way many moons ago.

That sucks man, I’ve read studies that say ingested cbd inhibits the Wuhan whooping cough from binding to proteins that it needs to replicate itself, that and zinc. But must be done early on during initial symptoms. But that’s as far as I’ll go dispensing medical advice. Damn it Jim I’m not a doctor, I’m a warehouse manager 🤣
