wondering if anyone has used the herbs now dryer and what their experiences are on it.

I just got one.
First batch came out just grassy smell.
Think it dried too quick. Humidity around me is at 30%

Trying again with the water shot in it.
Really, I came on here to ask about it also.

Not sure if I should use boveda when curing.

I'm new to the game 😬

My first run with it I dried 14 oz and I have a few pointers.

Make sure the room humidity is dialed in. If you can make sure the machine is full. I noticed more hay smell and faster drying times when I only had 1-2 trays full. All buds after dry and being put into the grove bags smelled bad. Anything too low I added trimmings too to rehydrate and then would take trimming out once it hit correct humidity. After 30ish days of curing i notices majority of my buds smelled really awesome, just takes time. 2 ounces had a wierd smell but I think it was my fault not the machines.

My first had that smell. I really think it was the humidity. I added the water shot for the 2nd run and it seems WAYYY better. Thanks for responding. Any thoughts on curing with boveda pack? I think i need to look into grove bags. I'm pretty new to this. Someone had given me teen plants last year and this year I figured to try from start on my own. Gives me something to do. Interesting learning the process. Would feel alot more gratifying getting it down pat.

I’m only on my 4th grow right now. I’ve never used boveda packs bc I’ve heard they kill your terps. Idk how true that is tho. The drying curing stage is also my biggest struggle lol which is why I got the herbs now. The grove bags are awesome dude. So far have provided me with some awesome cures. I’ve never tried using jars.
