Shes been using this cannon image software that does it all for her for years. She just plugs her phone in, a folder pops up, and she can acess it right from the ebay image uploader. Cannon stopped updating it a couple years ago, and the most recent windows update did something to prevent the (probably decade old) software from running because it creates a software security vulnerability. Shes used it forever, since back in windows vista. I had to pull some hoops to get it going for her in win10. but dead as a doornail for good now.

She kept repeating over and over "this is illegal, i paid for that software" no matter how many times i explained that what she payed for was a collection of 1s and 0s on an optical storage medium (CD). She did not pay for permanent operating system compatibility. She bought a disc in a box and unfortunately she has to learn to do something a different way now lol.


im trying to teach her the good ole "open folder to view files/copy/new folder/paste" method of copying photos because she doesnt know her password to sign into google drive to get the photos directly, and her recovery and 2 step ID phone numbers are numbers from when i was like 23yo if i could get her doing it the copy/paste way, she'll never run into a problem getting her photos again. It even works that way in macOS and linux i doubt itll change any time soon.


I failed. Will be going over there tomorrow to try again in person. The peaceblasters will be joining me. lol

I need some help setting up my wifi irrigation system, when you are done with her can you and peaceblaster come up north and hook me up too?

This is from the group campgrounds across the street and past the bathroom up hill which blocks the noise of the traffic about a mile below this hill. We're camped on the other side overlooking the lake with an amazing view. Best campsite in the place but tent only.

We're 5 miles away and this is our first time. Wife always said no as she wanted a fire. Charcoal fire only here and it kept us away for years. It was just fine tonight being in the low 60's Wednesday morning expected 42F so there's that but we do have a Mr Heater

I get why you can’t have a camp fire. Have you tried burning charcoal? It must put off a nice glow. That would drive me crazy camping with out a fire. I love the pictures looking down into town, very cool. Have you done any fishing?

yeah i thought about the oven at 50°C for a few hour, but i was affraid to dry to quickly and didn't really have room for a big enough dehydrator.

also thinking about a room dehumidifier and closing the window after harvest for two week, but not sure it's pratical as i smoke in the appartement and it may start to smell too much weed in front of my appartement door if i close the window

never had issue like this in 7 years and 35 grow, once had mold that continued to spread while drying in some main colas but that's all. rest of the time no major issues like this time.

I’ve started to pull my buds off the stock once the outside is about halfway dry and spreading them out on plastic trays opening them up with a fan running over top of them to dry them out before they get a chance to get moldy you can always add a bit of moisture to them afterwards or just let them rehydrate in the open air just my experience so far

i can't control rh in my small appartement with the window open 24/24 365/365.
i do grow indoor protected from the rain and cold but i have outdoor rh with the window always open when the genereal building heater is turned off

For 7 weeks after the first phenos harvest rh have been consistently between 60 to 75% and the weed didn't dry ,even if rh seem to get better now a large part of the buds have a brownish teint with sometime some very little spot of white fuzz mold here and there, after some successive inspections i finnally discarded the whole harvest

never had rh that high for so long, just the worst late august, september and mid october ever regarding RH

Just can't beat the weather sometime

to be honest i m not too concerned about it. it annoy me a little but not too much.
Won't arm to do some tolerance break now and before the next harvest, i still have a nice amount of the critical drying since a week with the usual better rh around 50 55%.

this is the first time in 7 years growing and 35 grows, i take it pretty much like food agriculture/farming natural disaster and bad season could just happen, i just won't have any aid from the governement for my loss LOL

You could in the future use a larger cardboard box with string run across the top to hang buds and put some vents in the box and run a fan blowing fresh air through the box. Set the fan on a timer so it’s not constant and it would probably work well. I found an instructional video on YouTube about it.

The youngin is still living with us, he’s only 13 years old. I don’t think his mom would want me to have him set up an irrigation system for my grow room though. Lol, it’s a WiFi setup that works on the 2.4 G vs the 5G , but our router is set up for 5G , I just don’t know how to get the router to work with both. And I’m only capable enough to mess stuff up further rather than figure it out on my own. Computers aren’t my strongest area of expertise.

0.75g of my strongest white flower, with 0.25g of my strongest hash from the purps. And 0.25 of the Peaceblaster3 oil melted in.

I'm thinking this will diminish the very high chances of her becoming mad at me when I fail to get her old software going again.
