Any salt and isopropyl alcohol works. Soaking for days works. When rinsing out use the faucet and switch from hot to cold and it will fire chunkage from the hard to reach internal portions of your bowl. I like to blow the bowl out in the trash to avoid too much resin going down the drain. I remember smoking the resin back in the day. It stunk, tasted like shit for days, gave me a headache and made me grumpy.So I always use coarse kosher salt, 91% isopropyl alcohol and a drop of dish soap to clean my glass with. A little trick for pipes is to use a heavy duty freezer bag to put solution into with pipe and trap some air, then shake violently and vigorously and viscously until the glass is clean. Really dirty pipes sometimes need to be boiled to loosen up all the resin.
Ohh resin, anyone else here use to scrape resin from their pipes and smoke it when weed was scarce? I can’t believe that I use to do that, shit got you high too. I had a pipe at work that never got cleaned, you would smoke a bowl and then the resin inside would ignite and shoot a flame out of the bowl. Well one day it blew out the actual bowl piece and rendered the pipe useless. So we busted it open and pulled 14 grams of resin out of the thing. Threw out a bunch of stuff that had glass in it, I bet probably another 7 grams worth of that shit.

I definitely 100% would never pour resin down the drain because number one any gonna go down the fucking drain the minute it hits the P-trap It didn’t go nowhere, the smell of resin will emanate from your sink for God knows how long…. I always just blew it out of the fucking bowl into the trash and then I would clean it but the way that that last I had was design man it was just a catcher resident. It looked like.
Yeah, it is a jar, later gotten one from them. They had it had one just like that on it. It was a fucking 2 1/2 foot tube. It sucked though man cause my buddy nudged it with his foot and then it fucking timbered and it snapped off the jar. I don’t think it’s the same quality that a lot of his older pieces were at the time. But all wasn’t lost because of the whole that was left by the jar where the stump was connected to the tube you know all I had to do is take a little bit of sandpaper, really really really really dense sandpaper and sand off just didn’t have a jar on it anymore. I got lucky.
That’s so going to break using it for anyone using or cleaning it. I don’t want a huge chunk of glass hanging off that makes me handle it all odd. One corner hook off with it’s head

He insisted that he kept the broken one. Then he went around to glass shops asking them to cut the top off. After being threatened by one place of calling the cops he moved on and a place did it. I spent all my time at Hunington Beach, Seal Beach and Newport growing up till i was 18. Had beach house rentals (family an friends) early mid 60's to early 70s. at a Goodwill store in Huntington Beach about 10 years ago. Brand new in plastic. 10 x 10' with a screened entry. We have a string of solar lights we put on it but with the threat of rain I took them off. Pretty cool when they're flashing.
