Made some hash this weekend with 3 ounces of dried larf from this recent harvest, ended up with 5.5g of smokable. I think it came out very nice its been a long time! 😶‍🌫️

I have been slowly lowering the hours of light in the 100g and gave them a nice defoliation yesterday. Need to clone one last yellow haze after I post this. The pot was real dry today, moved back the mulch layer and saw tons of roots getting into that top dress and worm action. Going to give it a nice deep soak as we head into flower. 🌻

Into week two of flower the flower tent got away from me and is packed to the brim. Never had to bend branches so much and these ladies are drying out the 100g every 2-3 days. def saw some light stress, had to solder the potentiometers on to dim around 25% for an average of 1100ppfd around the canopy.

Dayum thems some happy plants! Cant wait to see them in full bloom :)

The seedlings got neglected a bit but seem like they will be just fine. Pretty strange lanky trichomes from one of the lower buds, half way through drying today. Have been amending the pot and getting ready to transplant the haze in. Gave everyone some corn sprouts tonight and got a bunch more soil together for the rest of the autos that aren't going to be in a tiny one gallon pot. 😆

🍻
What kind of seeds you sprouting there? Looks like either corn or safflower.

Grind them bad boys up and water them into your plants for an enzyme treat!

They were corn, that's exactly what they were used for! I spent last year away in Canada, and left the 100g pot sitting in the dark, took a few months to rehydrate everything and gave it a bit of a recharge on my return.

Happy Halloween 🎃 It's been about 2 weeks since the last update and the flower tent is stuffed! The ladies are happy and healthy, finally stopped gaining height. Had a few leaves get damaged by the fan, the plants are so tall its been interesting trying to move things around as they grow. the last couple weeks the stems all firmed up, cant bend the colas over anymore.

This is the only good pic of the Yellow haze I could get, it's almost impossible to get back there. This is the lady with very wide leaves, she was short during veg, but caught up to the same height as the others during early flower. Most of the haze's are flowering visibly slower than the clones.

I'll include some pics of the clone room next time, I tried using this cheap soil I found locally that is mostly redwood/pine bark/wood, after heavy amending I'm still having big deficiencies. Seems like nitrogen/P is in short supply. Some quick research suggests wood based soils like to lock up N, so that would make sense...

The composting action will temporarily draw nitrogen out of your soil and when the compost is finished, it will release it back. One of the drawbacks of feeding leaves back to your soil while plants are growing.

This big pot is on its 11th cycle, the soil I am having issues with is new wood based soil that new clones were transplanted into about as month ago. (not pictured)

11? Nice. I'm on my 7th cycle. I am running out of room though and I'm pretty sure my soil is 99% worm castings by now.

Roughly 5 weeks into flower now, had to start staking them up. I am pleased how well they are doing being so close to the lights, it has three dimmers so I took some readings around the canopy and tried to get it 900ppfd all around. Other than a weekly neem and plant tonic soil drench rotation not much to report.

I'm jealous of your grow 🤣 ! Impressive development for how far long they are, I can see you obviously know what you are doing, I am very new to soil myself so I have a lot of catching up to do. After seeing so many people reuse their soil here like you have I am going to do it myself, really happy to read and see the results. Really nice plants man, really chunky buds already.

Thank you! My thoughts exactly when I saw it first, and now I do the same thing in my garden.

Lots of rain and humidity/temp swings as we end week seven. Starting to see some light burn in the middle of the canopy on the clones, while the haze seems unbothered. Turned the heater on for the first time this season, and more bamboo sticks have entered the arena. 🥷

Middle of a stormy week eight. Big humidity, big flowers, a bit reluctant to run the dehum for this last week or so...may regret it, we'll see.
Managed to get the clones healthy enough for the flip coming up!

Some really nice looking buds there man, they're stacked. I have been in the same boat with humidity, struggling keep it below 55 for 2 weeks. You're in the end zone now, cant wait to see them all hung up 😍 ! Clones coming along nicely too, we use similar bud clips haha.
