I wanted to update you guys on the ladies and ask a question or two. I’ve been monitoring everything with VPD. Currently have two plants (Ethos - Pluto Cut) in early veg and one plant (Night Owl - Queens Banner) just about to finish up seedling. Two ethos are on day 14 and the Night Owl is at day 9. Using coco coir 70/30 with all organic dry amendments (Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4). Not watering to run off as I want the nutrients to slowly release. I mixed the amendments in my medium before planting so it works as a slow release fertilizer for the first 30 days or so and at that point I I’ll be top amending every 1-2 weeks or so. Currently upped my VPD to .9 to begin the vegetative stage, once the queens banner has caught up to the current ethos I will up the VPD to 1.0 then a week after up to 1.1. Current climate is stable at 75 degrees, 68 percent RH.

I will attach pictures.

Question 1: are these looking appropriate for the current timeframe?

Question 2: I planned on LST’ing all of them but now thinking of maybe topping one and low stressing it in 4 directions while I’ll just regular LST the other. What do you think?

Should I top one? FIM one or just LST both? If so, I was going to top today to be in between that 12-16 day mark for less stunting. If not and you advise against topping/Fimming should I wait until day 16 to start LST?

Thanks for any help. Hope everyone’s having a great day 🤙🏼

Hello your plants look great and are age size appropriate to me. 👍 Do what you want and are comfortable with. Topping certainly won't harm healthy plants and LST won't either. I don't likeFIM sure i tried it couple times but i don't think it was as good as top and LST'd plants. It's how we all learned by taking risks and training for higher yields while maintaining a healthy plant. Mine are not always healthy, stuff goes wrong but i try not to repeat my mistakes. I write stuff on a calendar and make little notes. Good luck and keep us posted✌️

Thanks, now I have to figure out watering. This coco is tricky because it stays dark and wet but feels dry. But I’m upping a little bit by little bit.

Question? Do I wait to top until this 4th node grows out more? Or should I top above the 3rd?
