Week 9 of flower and the leaves have been dying and falling off due to senescence. I’ve been waiting for more trichomes to turn amber but at the rate the leaves are falling off I’m worried that maybe it’s better to harvest now rather than wait. Everyday I have to collect the dead leaves, the last 2 pics were from Wednesday while the rest are from today.

There is some amber here and there but I don’t think even 5%.

Thoughts?

Let it ride until you get the trichomes you are after. Looks like there is a little bit of time on those. Really nice looking plants

that’s not senescence that to me is removal or to low of nutrients being used,..
you feeding these plants?

Removal as in me removing the leaves?

I've been feeding them Fox Farms trio, watching the PPM & PH each watering to make sure they're all around 1,000-1,200 and 6.1-6.3 PH. I did stop feeding them for about a 7-9 days b/c I thought they'd be ready to harvest in week 8 or 9 but once the leaves started dying and I realized the trichomes weren't ready I resumed feeding them again. Could only 7-9 days without nutes cause this?

So far no improvement, leaves continuing to die and fall off. Seeing a little more amber trichomes but still a ways off.

yes it could do that especially ph ing that low the last half of flowering,.. should be higher like 6.8-7

6.8 soil or water PH? The 6.1-6.3 I mentioned was the PH of the runoff, I fluctuate the PH of the water ranging from 6.1-6.8.

On the big main buds with the crispy dry leaves do they just pull away with little effort if so look like bud rot in my experience. If it I is bud rot I would remove them or harvest the asap to stop any spread.
🤞 I’m wrong for you as have had many like that over the years of growing.
