Not an expert, but looks like what the call hot soil. I would move it to a 3 gallon pot with new soil. Looks like I'm the solo cup they are over watered and the roots are smothered. That's why you're leaves on top are pointing down and look a little bloated

not enough info to really give an answer. What was the purpose of top dressing with coco and more perlite? I’ve only ever top dressed with additional amendments. I’m curious as to what the reasoning is. happy frog should have enough in there to get you at least 4 weeks before seeing a deficiency, so I’m guessing a lock out from over watering, too high or low of ph, pest issues or using nutrients too early in the grow. Going just by your leaves you have a magnesium deficiency, but figuring out the why depends on unknown factors.

It’s fine. It’s just the plant reacting to the soil. It’s a little hot. You won’t even notice in a couple weeks. Not sure why you top dressed with coco perlite. It won’t hurt but I don’t see a reason to do it. Let them dry out before you water again. They look a little over watered. It’ll be time to transplant soon.

I would move them to bigger pots, transplanting can work wonders for a plant.
When you transplant, you can bury most of the main stem so they're not as tall.

I prefer to use straight Happy Frog in my solo cups for seedlings, I don't usually add more but a little extra perlite wouldn't hurt.
I also like to plant them in clear solo cups and then slip the plant/clear cup inside of a solid color solo cup so you can check on roots every now and then.

What medium do you plan to use in your final pots for the rest of the grow?
I personally do 2 parts Ocean Forest to 1 part Happy Frog, I add extra perlite as well.

I like to water in a circular motion when the plants are young and in final pot so the roots seek out the water. Once they're established, I start saturating fully.

Newty that’s much appreciated indeed. The final medium will be a blend of cultivation nation 70/30 and earth worm castings. The goal is to have more control this round. One will be grown with organic dry amendments (Gaia green) the other will be fed the fox farm nutrients with periodic flushes. The goal is to transplant them soon into 5 gal pots

Thank you for the input indeed, transplant is definitely in need. Currently buffering the coco perlite blend and getting the ph is around 6.0

agree with everything said,

only thing i would suggest is to remove the necrotic (dead) leaves so as

not to attract mold or pests. also don't forget to add Great White

(or similar to both the roots and hole when transplanting (that

shit rocks imo) have fun and good luck growing

-peace- ☮️

ps this is a handy site with a lot very good troubleshooting pics

and basic growing. it also has a beginner guide👍

Thanks bill definitely need to get this transplant done. The reason for the to top dress is because the final medium will be a coco coir blend with work castings but see now the top dress was unnecessary lol

The purpose for the top dress was due to the final medium being coco coir but see now it was not needed. The feed has been ph to 6.4 and I’ve been waiting to water until a slight droop in leaves which you see now. Yesterday leaves were leveled

I love coco but haven’t had much luck with it when I’m trying the worm casting, organic route. I have used coco loco with success though.

I'm so damn sick of reading how the soil is to hot. Just stop if thats all you have. Happy Frog and Ocean Forest is not to damn hot! I mix ferts into my Ocean Forest right from the get go. When my seedlings break ground they are in fertilized soil. Be it bottle or dry nutrients. I want them hitting the dirt running there ass's off. The last couple of years I've been premixing Gaia Green, worm castings, de into my Ocean Forest right from the get go which according to internet lore is hotter than Happy Frog. And you don't need to feed for 3 weeks. It's all pure bull shit! Those plants are suffering from over and under watering yoyo ride and not enough light and nutrients. If it's a virgin new soil mix I have been mixing coco into my Ocean Forest at a 75/25 mix and not adding any perlite as the coco helps with compaction and even water soak.

I know this is a lot of pics. But this is a typical,,, not always done this way but typical of a first two weeks. And I pushed the light right up to the wicked edge. And was also testing Nectar of the Gods ferts. Seedling light was a HLG 100 V2 @ 4000K to keep the stretch down and tight node spacing.

Here the 7.5 gal pots are made up, clear solo cups in there home. Ocean Forest is all mixed up and watered in with a Nectar of the Gods nute mix. Seeds are floating waiting on the pop.
Pots

Seeds have sprouted,,, Day 1 we have a grow. And watering is done with a 2 oz. syringe. 1 oz. of water at the base of the seeding every few days for two weeks. And there being pushed hard concerning the lighting.
Day1 seedlings

One week,,,, 6th and 7th days in and pushing hard. Light is doing its job keeping the seedlings short and just about to explode with big growth. Massive nutrient load. No issues. 1 oz. of water every 2 to 3 days to the seedlings. And a quart of water to the surrounding soil at the same time to keep cooking the nutes in when transplant happens.

6th day after watering 1 oz. Only there second watering since sprouting. Syringe ready to go for the next watering.
6 days

7th day. There about to explode with growth! Right one is a runt. If it hadn't been a test grow for a breeder buddy I would have pulled it.
1 week old

Two weeks, 14 days and time to transplant. Pop them out of there clear solo cups and drop them in there holes. Done and over with. Only issue is I pushed the lighting right up to burning the leaves on the larger plant. Perfect for the smaller plant at 400 ppfd. They each got 2 oz. of water at the circumference of the solo cup / hole. The Seedling light came out and they went under a HLG 350R at 375 ppfd. No issues with nutrient burn or other factors causing issues or stunting. Get your soil prepared, water correctly, use the light correctly and get your environment correct and they will grow and blow. With no issues from HOT soil. I'm so damn sick of that HOT soil BS!
Transplant

Ppfd

14 days

Three weeks and drowning them in Nectar of the Gods.
Plants week 3

Good Luck!

Didn’t read much of your post. Only going from what I experience with it. Not saying things that I’ve heard from someone else.
