I am excited for the next run! I'll be operating both tents. After receiving my OG kush and Trainwreck feminized seeds from @RoyalQueenSeeds, I plan to use organic soil as the medium and feed the plants with Dr. Earth and Alaska Fish Fertilizer. I will keep my pH at 6.5. Can't wait for payday, and of course, I'd have to wait for the seeds to be shipped home.
If you go all organic, at least using the Alaska fish fert, the DR Earth I’ve never tried, but I don’t PH anything. sounds crazy nowadays I know, but once I stopped inputting that and letting the organics do the work.. you won’t need to do that, the only thing I do is I never really give plain water mines 7.3ph out the tap I’ll feed Alaska fish fert one watering at 4ml/gal (of water not soil volume) , next one some advanced nutrients OG tea 2-3ml/gal next watering fox farms big bloom 10ml/gal

These are all about half suggested feed rates, but I don’t PH. I let the rhizosphere control Wyatt he plant receives

Once I stopped the PH’ing a lot of issues stopped immediatly, my soil on a mechanica meter always reads 6.8-7.0 in peat and they flow right through with that feed schedule to harvest

If I wanna push em I’ll toss in some non organics weeks 4-7, flower fuel or bud explosion to see how much they can handle

In fact here they are lol mid week 2 on the kahuna 3 and ending week 2 on the kahuna 2 in the scrog table

i have strange water, it comes out of my storage can @ 0 ppm and 8.4 ph. if i put just 1 drop of ph down in 2gal, it tanks at 4.5-5.0 if i use ph up, it takes like 8-10 drops to bring it back up to 5.8. when i mix up a batch of nutrients in the plain ro water (8.4), it usually comes in @ around 6.0 after all ingredients are added.

anybody else watch this guy?

seems very knowledgeable, but just can't seem to catch a break. he moved from canada to thailand to set up an enormous commercial operation, as well as some home tent and rooftop grows. check him out

ps to the newbs that have murdered a cpl seedlings here and there, take heart. you aint got shit on this poorguy.

that’s crazy you drop that hard , but yeah that’s the same as it used to be for me, a drop of PH down would tank it. And it would take a ton of PH up to correct it, Most likely due to the type of neuts you’re using, like fox farms is shipped in a low PH formulation to keep them stable in shipping

Hers a bottle of fox farms for example

When I run my micro and bloom when I’m not running organic if I go 7.3 base PH water, then add 3ml micro and 8ml bloom per gallon I end up in the 6.5ph range, with the Alaska fish fert or advanced nutrients organics OG tea etc they don’t mess with the ph like that, when I water, it’s around 6.8-6.9 in 100% peat I should be at what 6.1- 6.3 or I’d be at the brink of lockout feeding synthetics. sounds crazy but…. Do they look like they have a ph imbalance?

When I say organic I mean anything That goes in is OMRI labeled

I’ve watched em a few times my YouTube is on auto play and once I start a build a soil video everything behind it is weed related all night while I sleep and listen 🤣

@Mikedin, your plants and setup look fantastic. it's crazy how ph #s are different in most grows, most with great results. i run a range of 5.8-6.2. i like to start a fresh batch after sunday flush @ 5.8, then let it slowly creep up to 6.0 or 6.1 over the course of the week. i see some peeps on here that try to keep it within 0.1 pts.
while flushing and starting anew ea week may seem like a waste of nutes, and time, in the end it solves 98% of nute burn, salt build up and trying to solve deficiency symptons. if the mix was perfectly good for them last week, it should be perfectly good for them this week (baring of course transition periods, (knowing when to) switch to flowering) etc.

turtles anyone?
