g'evening night crew, g'day down under, hope you all are doing well.

here's my girl now. 38 days old from seed. pics don't do her justice at

all. she is now drinking 1 gallon+ per day. she does not have a single

burnt tip or any yellow or yellowing leaves, all while doing it all wrong

& in a manner that shouldn't work. this is what can happen if you leave

the leaves on them until a conservative thinning post flop. & no, i

zero concerns about mold atm, it's 15% rh in my house right now and 31%

in my room. -peace- 👍 💪✌️
Reminds me of cousin it from the adams family 😂👍

Thanks man I been trying to fkin figure that out I just got the lights 2 weeks ago 3 730 watt mars hydro fce6500 I turned them from 75% to 50 last night thinking that because 50 ppl said I was over watering and I haven't changed since I started. Lights are the only change makes sense now. Just weird I tried stepping them up gradually
I run a FC-E8000 on one side of my my 4x8, they are strong lights, I never go over 75% with the light strapped to the ceiling, have ran it through multiple runs you can see them in my journal, internet sucks right now, can’t upload videos or pics for ya of the last run

You know light heat evaporates your soil water.less watts less evaporation

agreed plus said 3 of the FCE6500’s so maybe a 8x8 tent? Had to tell in the pics, Mylar sectioning off area I think, but yeah I’d get those lights up about another foot minimum maybe foot and a half, that light is basically pushing those leaves downward I think

errrrrr disturbing?

in my system/method you can run temps up to 95f, as long as you have

everything dialed in and are running 1400ppm of co2. the plants eat it up.

it makes them transpire more, which in turn makes them suck up water

and nutrients faster which drives faster photosynthesis etc. i know this

1st hand from growing in florida in the summers. i'm not saying do this,

i'm saying this is what i do. i'm not sure you could supply them enuf water

to them in dirt unless you had very big (10+ maybe) pots.

anyone know what time @Captspaulding likes to roll through?

Agreed, as long as your humidity is in check as well. Plants can and do grow well in temps above 85* provided you have adequate CO2 and correct humidity. Your terpenes will suffer however. They will volatilize in the 70s.

I like to stress test my crosses for stability. This includes extreme temps that most growers are likely not to see. This screen grab is from over the summer where I kept them close to 100* for weeks. Buds were a little airy and not as stinky as normal, but the high and yield was still on point.

That current batch of seeds is being stressed right now with lows in the low 50s and the highs in low 70s. I would like to keep it under 70, but it is hard when lights come on.

On a positive note I don’t think she’s noticed she’s in a cup of water yet 🤣😜👊

Looks just like when I stuck her in there, hard to get a pic of that lower section but I think a few may be ready to split

hey man, would wax paper or parchment paper be easier to collect the pollen

off from? it wouldn't get caught in all the little wrinkles that are in af, plus you

could see it better. just an idea

Yeah it probably would be would still be around the stem, if I could set it up in a Rubbermaid I could made it more like a funnel away, I plan to use what I need and I’ll toss the rest probably or save the bit I can collect, I’ll hit the branch with the farther along lower, then rest of it (the main) I’ll see if I can shake it into a small Rubbermaid to collect dry and scrape up what I can and I’ll try to refrigerate it and see if it’s viable when I need it again
