So I have this bad habit of harvest too early even if I know better.

So here is question week or two more? These are Autos and expected to be ready by about 15th - 20th of dec.

Use a loop! Look at and into the crevices of the bud to determine the stage of the trichomes. And harvest when you want. Don't pay any attention to the sugar leaves and other places trichomes develop. They can be effected quicker by are borne pollutants like dust, cooking oils, lent commonly found in the air. Only look at the bud structure....

Yeah I'm not a 30% amber trichome kind of guy, I let it get to under 5%. The plant at 100% milky is impossible, but that's what I'd theoretically aim for. If I can get to a 95'ish% milky and a few single ambers on the bud tops, I chop. Waiting for that last 5% to go milky, basically trades it for more than 5% to turn amber somewhere else. I believe the plant in all its glory is in the milky trichomes, any degradation is just that, degradation. For a Sativa you can get away with more amber, but for a heavy Indica, you're playing with fire. I have to consciously stay away from couches and comfy armchairs with Indicas, or I am out like a light lol.

I think you're pretty close. Just start to flush them IMO and then harvest next next week.

Hear me out on this. My last harvest I left 5 good little bud sites on one of my plants, hoping to reveg it in the shed but it didn't work. The buds lost all of their green, took on the color of dead grass. They were super sticky and required no drying or curing, they came off the plant as a smooth tasty toke... And goddamn if those weren't the most potent nugs I got off the plant. I plan to do this for all my plants now... leave some buds on after harvest to purge the chlorophyll while they're still mainlining everything they can from the living plant and call it my private reserve stash.

A guy who was one of my grow mentors once told me, wait until you are absolutely positively sure they are ready... And then give them another week, lol.

Final update. Got quite few smaller buds (box in front) but all and all good harvest.

Going do 24/7 run again. This all for 60x60cm tent with with no fertilizer, no training. Just add water kinda thing.
