Is it rust fungus? Or just nut deficiency??Plants are hungry
Two different plants are there?!Plants are hungry
resenbles mg deficiency, (purple stems, necrosis between veins) caused by nutrient lock, which can be caused by several factors such as root zone ph imbalance, over watering etcTwo different plants are there?!
i've only seen 3 fingers like that after re-vegging or genetics, i wasn't aware stress can cause them. looking more, i see what looks like some light green kind of gnarly top coming out. if that's the case it kind of suggests a micro nutrient deficiency. to the best of my knowledge, the plants only need minute amts of.... you guesed it - micro nutrients. most soils to my understanding (i'm not a dirt farmer) usually have micro nutrients aplenty, so if there's a micro nute deficiency, it's most times caused by nutrient lock out, not a lack of in the soil. if thats the case, we definitely need to find whats causing it. as we both have said; we need much more info. gonna leaf it for now with a cpl pics... thanx for the help eledin, much appreciatedDoes the first one has 3 fingered leaves aswell? There's several things going on in there, I would say that the plants either cant take nutes properly or are not properly fed, calmag deficiency would make sense but something made those leaves in the second one 3 fingered and its usually stress or disease, could be weird genetics too. Once we know what you feed them and how often you water with how much water and if you keep track of the PH... it could also be a VPD problem, if your temperature and humidity are not at optimal ranges the plant cant direct the water towards the leaves and the roots stay moist for too long. I dont know, just speculating til we have more info. If you dont meassure PH, do you use tap water or osmotized water? Or what kind?

i have, but only outside in fla, never inside. when you re-veg, it usually goes back to kind of ugly melded things, then it goes to 1 blade for a cpl nodes, then to 3,5,7,9 etc had a friend that did a lot of it, but unfortunately we lost him last year. i'm trying to re-learn all of this after a 22 yr hiatus. i try to help people bc it helps me as well, 1st by studying up on whatever situation, then by coming here and see if peeps come to any kind of consensus. i don't really have these problems with recirculating hydro - i flush and replace nutrients once per week religiously. during the week, if i suspect a problem, i just dump/flush/replace.... easy peasy....Now Im thinking about it, maybe you meant a clone from a revegged plant? Could that be the case? I never revegged weed.
Yep her only purpose will be for me to get 3 healthy clones rooted and she’ll be chopped and comparedi have, but only outside in fla, never inside. when you re-veg, it usually goes back to kind of ugly melded things, then it goes to 1 blade for a cpl nodes, then to 3,5,7,9 etc had a friend that did a lot of it, but unfortunately we lost him last year. i'm trying to re-learn all of this after a 22 yr hiatus. i try to help people bc it helps me as well, 1st by studying up on whatever situation, then by coming here and see if peeps come to any kind of consensus. i don't really have these problems with recirculating hydro - i flush and replace nutrients once per week religiously. during the week, if i suspect a problem, i just dump/flush/replace.... easy peasy....
Awesome dude, I’ve had a few plants I wanted to re veg but never could commit to the time/space, respect!Yep her only purpose will be for me to get 3 healthy clones rooted and she’ll be chopped and compared
Here that node is this morning, took a month, but that’s after removing her form a 12 gallon pot, cutting off probably 95% of the root ball (i left only a softball size rootball, I got the pictures somewhere I think. and replanting in a 1 gallon pot, takes awhile for them to grab ahold and root then about the same amount of time to start showing growth, but once it does, it’s on
Sorry I get loud probably once i got my head inside the tent lol
I've just recently (out of boredom) grabbed a few cuts from underneath a plant I had flipped to flower, I think it was near week 3 , and they cloned out well, faster than say a plant still in veg.Awesome dude, I’ve had a few plants I wanted to re veg but never could commit to the time/space, respect!
Right on that’s cool to hear!I've just recently (out of boredom) grabbed a few cuts from underneath a plant I had flipped to flower, I think it was near week 3 , and they cloned out well, faster than say a plant still in veg.
But yeah, OP lot to think about, like already said, check your watering practice and maybe your soils pH if you can.
I ph my water to 6.2. water every 2-3 days do let soil dry out I honestly think I underwatered trying not to over water being my first grow. The soil is mirical grow soil with happy frog on top to start the seedling.. ik ppl don't like mirical grow but my bro has grown the most fire dank buds in it so it's possible.resenbles mg deficiency, (purple stems, necrosis between veins) caused by nutrient lock, which can be caused by several factors such as root zone ph imbalance, over watering etc
If pH is out of range, the plant cannot properly uptake essential nutrients like calcium, magnesium, or potassium.
Symptoms: Yellowing between veins, necrotic spots, and general decline in leaf health.
how often you watering? are you letting your soil dry out in between?
need way more info broski
i'm not saying i'm correct, just giving people smarter than me something to consider

3 fingers doesnt necessarily mean its stress, all the possibilities we mentioned so far are: stress, disease, genetics, reveg. Many times it can be completely normal to have 3 fingered leaves because of genetics, here in Spain though I have yet to see one of my plants getting 3 fingered leaves, maybe is because I dont do autos nor reveg? Anyway, like purple stems just by itself it could be nothing, but when you see several things like that combined with unhealthy leaves it might be linked. Ive seen plants growing in contaminated soil get sick from the start and show 3 fingered leaves (not mine fortunately). Is it only on the lower leaves?
Probably a long shot but did they by chance get wet when watering?
I've seen leaves do all sorts of weird stuff when they get water on them, especially water with nutes.
I seen talk of 3 finger leaves, before I came to this forum I did not know it could be a sign of stress.
I've seen them plenty of times, usually only for 1-2 nodes but never any other signs of stress so I always thought it was a normal growth pattern.
I need to get a temp and humidity reader this week.. but the soil was new soil!? I'm new to all this so love learning all this new stuff alot of good advice on here.. just the plants were thriving in the begging then I did neem oil on them and soil and since then they seem to be sad....Do you have temp and humidity highs and lows registered in a thermoygrometer? Im very against the 24 hours of light even if its an auto. They can go without showing any sign of stress even though theyre forced to do night activities during the day which is not good, but if they get a problem 24h of light is not gonna do them any favor because they heal amongst many other things during the dark cycle. Do you have microorganisms breaking down your organic soil? I dont know if they come with the substrate we dont have those in Spain. Often I see people in this forum using organic soil and not adding any microorganisms which will cause deficiencies because many ammendments take weeks or months to break down without microorganisms. So you top dressed them to keep the seedlings going, when was that? If it was such a small dose that it didnt burn the seedlings they probably need more now.
