she's getting out of control, going in the 4x4 tent tomorrow if it kills me. i turned the light from 100% down to 50% bc tt looked like the start of some light stress (a few leaves trying to canoe). that was two days ago, the canoes seem to getting better she is only been drinking water and running the reservoir ppm up to 1750, just have to keep an eye on her and top her up w/ a 1/2gal every 12hrs

yea bro, no prob. it's really only good for mother's though as is, bc you have to be able to lift it out of the main bucket to transfer her to another bucket, to flush while you're cleaning the main. i'm anal about once per week flushing and cleaning. it takes a little more time & nutes but will save many problems down the road.

that being said, ima figure out a way to rig up a small sump with a small auto bilge pump or something like that, with a separate reservoir (full 5 or 6 gallon bucket). that way you can drain/flush/clean without having to move the plant, could be something as small as a pyrex meatloaf pan (i've asked other dwc peeps but they won't reply), if you could then put the res higher than the main bucket, it could be gravity feed. otherwise you'll need a small h2o pump.

i'll put a cpl dif designs together and dm you

I have small pumps available to use as well as air pumps with airstones

the 1st one looks awesome. somebody has to explain how those multi bucket dwc setup works with no visible drains. what do they do, just water to the point of no runoff? i don't get it

Those are most likely dripper systems not DWC, those are for soil / medium based grows, timer set up to water once every however you set it, like flood and drain tables with rockwool, 2 drippers each, runoff through the table, with those you go much less, just watering the soil every 10 minutes with like 20-30ml of water at a time

They are great for coco and rockwool is what I see them used most for, with soil it’d be an overwater situation I think, but I’m sure it could be balanced to work with time and effort to figure it out

i'll be using a 3x6 flood table in my 4x8, and a 3x3 in my 4x4. this will allow air circulation around the whole tent. the tables will only be used for drains, they will not ever be flooded, as i'll using 2 - 1/4" feeders per plant, that will run continuously when the lights are on; nothing during dark. i'll then put either uni-slabs, 1 plant ea, or 36" slabs with 2 plants ea. was originally going to do 5 plants each side of my 4x8, i've re-thunk it after seeing how thick this plant grows. i'll prolly just do 2 ea side or maybe even 1. i will get minimum (i'm hoping) 1lb per side from the 4x8... after a few grows and learning the new lights and cultivars and gizmos etc. i'm really hoping to get up to 2-2.5 per side with leg size colas. i know it's possible - just hope i have enuff time left to figure it out.
