Hello! First time grower looking for help.
I noticed the tips of my leaves curling up, getting worse day over day. Some discoloration too.

Details below, am I doing anything wrong?
Day 14 seedling help leaves curling and discolored
Day 14 seedling help leaves curling and discolored 2
Day 14 seedling help leaves curling and discolored 3
Day 14 seedling help leaves curling and discolored 4

3 feminized squirt seeds.
Day 14 from sprout
5 gal pots
3x3 tent

Ionboard s22 light on 18/6, level 2 of 10 about 20 inches away (~280 ppfd right on top of each plant)

Watering~30-80 ml per day per plant depending on soil moisture

RO water: PH ~ 6.2

Exhaust fan set to kick on if the humidity goes over 85%

Humidifier set to kick on if I dip below 80%

Heater set to kick on if I dip below 69°f

No nutes yet aside from what's in the soil.

Thank you!

I would say a watering issue they need a wet /dry cycle very hard todo that small in a 5 gallon pot I start in solo cup and up pot as needed let them dry up all the way water and let dry again good luck

Thanks! I do think I will try a smaller container to start next time.

Any advice since I'm already in the 5 gals? I was thinking I should increase the volume, but decrease cadence to once a day or every other?

Yahoo, going for the hat trick! Me too!

Agree with Bigalmoby. I water slowly and thoroughly enough that all the soil in the pot gets wet all the way to the bottom. Then wait until it dries back before watering again. Don't know what your using peat or coco but either way, if roots grow down into dry soil, leaves get unhappy color.
Also, the curling might be a little light stress. I would raise light to 27" and see if edges uncurl and leaf color darkens.
I'm 4 weeks in, SF2000 light at 27" above and 45%.

Either you have a fan blowing directly on them it’s getting to hot the ph is out or your lights to close

It doesn’t look like a water issue to me, although correct watering is important

Tbh it looks more like a ph issue
6.2 is on the low side I’d up that to 6.5 with a 6.3 minimum

Thank you! I did have a fan blowing on them and didn't realize that could cause issues so I moved that. I'll check the PH again today and move it up a bit :)

Thank you! I read that overwatering seedlings was a common mistake so maybe I swung too far the other way. I'll try watering more volume less frequently.
