How do you guys feel about these trichomes
I’m confused if the light is deceiving me on the development
Under the microscope it looks cloudy but my phone camera zoomed in looks glassy still some look like they are turning amber but could be the pistols reflecting
The pistols are mostly amber and receding
Bud looks swollen too
It’s just weird bc this is week 6 flower for me and I didn’t expect them to be this far along already
Unless it actually flowered faster than I remember
It’s week 8 from flip
Which is still way to early to harvest I know
I did 12 weeks from flip last time from seed
This time I cloned it
Excuse the deficient tree in the back
It was my first time using dry amendments
I didn’t time the gai green correctly

Very nice looking plants!!! The same difficulties you have between the camera and the microscope applies to pics too, but I’ll take a stab. The first pic I see almost all cloudy. The next pics look like they’re transitioning from clear to cloudy. They’re definitely mostly not clear, but also not as cloudy as they could/will be. I don’t see much amber. I’d say you got a Good week or maybe two, but that’s depends on how much amber you like.

I appreciate the input
I was expecting to do another 4 weeks
I’ll keep an eye out in case it finishing sooner but I don’t mind waiting
I want more amber to get more of a couch lock

i'm in the same boat as you as far as clear/cloudy goes. what i learned is to shield the bud from direct light with your hand when you check.
helps me anyways.

I’ll have to do that next time
Tricks to the trade lol Preciate you

first pic has few lite amber trichromes ... others pics much less but still a few here and there, on a side note light tend to be to bright on most photos i think wich make them looks clearer than they really are, on some spot with more shade on the photos you can see most are cloudy.

Bbs Trichromes

Just my opinion, but I prefer to wait until almost 50% amber. Let it be all it can be.
*i must add that the color of your light does and will change the look, natural sun light works best IMO

That’s what I’m planning
It was just confusing because I didn’t expect this much cloudiness already
Its still really early in flower in my opinion
I need to get a better microscope so the light won’t trick me as much

That’s what I thought exactly
I’m going to wait a while till I see more amber
This is my third grow and I’ve never seen a plant develop this fast with all the research I’ve done
There’s always so much misinformation I just want to make sure I’m doing it correctly
Thanks for the input

Also the amber seemed to only be where the pistols where
I didn’t think they were amber bc I assumed it was the reflection of the pistol color showing on the trichome heads

Don't get me wrong, sometimes trichs turn quickly, sometimes they don't. You're on the right track.

I still crack up over the advice I got from an old mentor. Wait until you are absolutely positively sure they are ready. Then give them another week or two.
I’m about to be waiting till I’m dead then lol
