Yea I grew up growing nothing but sun powered outdoor I’ve got away from the organic route inside might look into it next yr I like the idea of feeding the soil so the soil feeds the plants plus gotta be better for ya right? I’m not a heavy handed nute user always use bare minimum the plant requires but it’s still synthetic

this is like the long backwards way to the same goal, gotta build the soil, im just finishing plant after plant at this point, few weeks and ill have everything chopped and a good surplus of bud, im expecting some hard runs to tune in the soil and some new learning curves, kinda a big project that i hope will payoff in basically water only runs, im working to get this to be an all around untouchable mix. ill be documenting every imput to each mix and whats added when, ill do my best to document water amounts, next gear to look at will be soil moisture meters, looking at living soil drybacks work slightly different so ill need to lean that as well

My plan is kinda odd

im planning the 3x 30 gals in the 4x8 and one 3x3 bed in the 4x4 just gettin an extra 30 gal to have a spare

those are 12 gallon pots they are in now

Absolutely it’s the base of everything I do! Awesome stuff can’t say enough about it!

I have a bunch of stuff including synthetics also have all the megacrop from @greenleafnutrients im using in the 2x2 micro scrog

ahh langbeinite will be removed, if used with dolomite lime it will being mag to a toxic level,

no need to risk
greensand will be the K assister

I use them, been using them for a couple years now. I started using build a soils craft blend after I ran low on it. I tried to get some information about how much I should be using through the BAS website and was told not to use it and was offered another product that they sell, even after explaining that I already bought it and needed instructions on how to use it they kept trying to sell me more shit. So now I’m back to Gaia green, and have been working in some other dry amendments from down to earth.

Ohh shit. Good catch right there @Mikedin I have some of both in my arsenal right now. I cooked my poor Mexican x Columbian land races when I transplanted them. I’m almost certain I added tablespoons instead of teaspoons of dolomite lime to the mix. They definitely look like they are experiencing lock out.

Yeah I’m iffy on using the lime as well, I don’t need any lime normally with my peat, I think I’ll keep it out and I’ll watch PH on a few meters, gotta pick up a moisture meter of some sorts so I can try to keep them even too

I’m definitely going to try to stick a few moisture meters in the side of my pots to keep them from getting too dry.

I’ll use all these to watch heat, then moisture and last one with PH I’d rather stay low tech haha I like watching my soil Ph with those type of ph meters it’s what I always have in one of my pots

yeah, i've taken 2 - 3.5gal buckets of leaves off her plus 12 clones today. there is a lot

of messed up stuff in the middle (i knew there would be). i'll take more out over the

next couple of days. if i can get just 1/2 of the inside greened up, that'll prolly still

leave 30-50 bud sites. if i end up w/ 2 or 3 oz i'll be very happy. next run from clones

should be pretty spectacular now that i've pushed her to her limits; i now know what

to do & what not to do. it'll still be a good learning curve, but i'm confident i'll

hit my stride after 2 or 3 grows. i'll try'n start documenting stuff better and keep a

better diary that'll be easier to follow along. (hopfully)
