I just was trying to post a link of elderberries odor on duckduckgo and all I get is health benefits links, chefs saying they smell good.😂 wtf has happened to the internet? I stopped using google for this reason, manipulated search results. Elderberries have never smelled good. Now I can’t even get honest description of the smell? Wtf?

I think I can get the bed for $25 less and the pots for like 5-0 ish right off grassroots but I’ll see if it’s cheaper to seperate with BAS doing free shipping on all that including the 80 lbs of pumice 😂 can’t find it locally anywhere did some running around and nobody has any

Might even add a 3rd bag, 2nd half of aeration will be 20-30 lbs of rice hulls

Trying to calculate what would be cheaper and what would be better home built soil or start with the build a soil coots blend (it’s the nutrients and minerals only you add everything else, and it’s a LOT lol)

Hers basically what I’m building One way or the other

Also will be using lamberts peat most likely another Canadian sourced peat, gunna stay away from the promix if I have to so I don’t get the perlite mix

If need be it’s no biggie I’ll use perlite but would prefer not to if I don’t have to, these will be real living soil beds once they start

You should inquire about sponsorship over here. 😁👊 I haven’t tried that coots mix but there 3.0 is the go to, I think they went from pumice to perlite based on Marty’s comments on my observation of the newer soil having large shiny white rocks vs. small ones and the floating. The new one which probably has perlite is sinking vs. floating. Solid call on the time traveler 😁🤡

called up eddie scissorhands and went to town; there were a lot of deformed,

weird ass leaves. many with even number of fingers - 8,10,12 etc. it started out

smelling like cat piss, now, while trimming it, it smells like somebody did a

burn-out in a puddle of cat piss; very distinctive burnt rubber smell, with a

hint of peppercorn. half a 3.5 bucket of leaves and you can't even tell

that i took any. she's in a bit of shock from topping her, but i'm sure

she'll bouncel back in not time (turned the light down to 50% (from 100%).

sorry about spamming all the leaves, but i want to document them.

leaves pictured are on a five gallon bucket lid.

that was this afternoon, now 9pm the leaves are praying so i went back

up to 100% on the - butterfly farmer 720w

* pics are backwards - last pic is 'before', 1st pics are after hack job

-peac- 👍 🤟✌️

Actually it looks like the new pumice is white I think but perlite is just still an expanded mineral, it just crushes and end up floating out, that why they use pumice to stay in place and the rice hulls will break down and provide silica over time
