Hello one and all. I’m retired and love my flower. I’m new at growing. Here are my golden girls.

So my dude,
We have some issues with your plants bud.
You are keeping those awfully saturated.
Crazy wet.
Can you take afingernail and scrap that white stuff off the leaves?
Also, you have stowaway varmints in there?

Thanks I am using dirt some clay, light and water.

New to growing any other suggestions

Well, did you find any critters? Check the soil using a fork to disturb the dirt?
Clay is no bueno. That will cut of vital air the roots need to thrive (air, dirt with readily available nitrition and proper stauration ensure anhappy feed which leads to better wet dry cycles.
You want a soil that is peat based with skme pine needles blended in, with perlite.
There are many brands tha offer that mix ready to pot fox farms happy frog,
Fertilome ultimate poting soil is what i swear by.
And also did any of that white funk come off the Leaves when you rub or scape the leaf surface?
Whats you temp amd rh?
Theres a few issues here, we need to wack moles.

If it's tap mist, you probably won't have to worry about a calcium deficiency. (kidding..)

First time I ever found bud worms chomping my colas I hit my plants so hard with BT the leaves looked like that afterward. Also my clone box when I didn't taper off the misting.

Welcome! Im very glad that you quited alcohol and decided to move to the realm of weed, much more healthier for you and everyone around you! And finding a new hobby like growing always helps a ton, specially if you like it, its therapeutical to work with plants. And then smoking them 🤣
Lots of good growers in here that will help you, fear not, they will guide you when you dont know something.

I think the clay he is refeering too is the expanded clay pebbles visible on top of the substrate, also known as arlite. I use them too is better than perlite for oxigenation! And I put a bunch on the bottom too so I have an inside drainage system in the pot.
Other than that yes to everything, listen to this guy because he knows a fucking ton, he will get your plants going in no time if you listen to him and give the info he is asking for.

Yeah, I’m about to bust out a DWC kit that requires using that as soon as my cutting is finishing, I’ll be breaking that rig out. Yeah I see that now. Definitely good spacing there.

Just put seeds in a pot and let it grow. The white stuff did not come off. I have a main coon cat that patrols the garage.

The buds do look good! But the leaves are showing something and if you cant spot aphids I bet its micromites. Had the exact same thing happen to my plants once, I couldnt see anything below the leaves... thats until I took a heavy magnifying glass and saw them fuckers. Its very common indoors and many times can go unnoticed. It might make the buds a bit harsher to smoke if they get into the bud leaves but as far as pests is one of the mildests.

Is that your first grow? If so thats impressive man, the buds do really look fire I just hope the micromites dont ruin the taste, maybe consider an early chop if you see them fuckers. The buds seem fairly mature anyway.
