A friend’s plant is looking pretty rough and I’m curious what you guys think is up with it

I’ve attached a pic. They said they’ve been watering it with spring water from the store that they pH’d to about 6.5 in a 3 gallon pot. Maybe 5 gallon pot. It’s a Grandaddy Purple autoflower.

I’m curious, a plant or two of mine have grown very close to the LED lamp at times in my micro grow, but they didn’t look anything like this. How could it be THIS light stressed? Coincidentally it was the same strain. I’ve attached a pic. This is the same set of seeds too.

Man some people just have black thumbs don’t matter how much u teach they know it all heaps goin wrong here ph to much light not fed properly over or under watered unless ya know exactly what’s up with his environment and feed lights etc it’s just guessing game

There toast. So many issues here. Light, water, feed, environment/temp/rh. A auto flower will not recover well after a beat down like that. Ask the grower to join and ask. So much more info is needed from them..... Good Luck!

Most likely: nute burn, overwatering and light stress (when plants are stunted they are not gonna take as much light nor eat as much, probably what happened there, it went from bad to worse). Overwatering might be that he just doesnt water correctly, you cant always have runoff on the bottom thats problematic, or maybe he is too anxious and cant keep his hands off the plants, happens a lot

I did that once to plants and it was too many nutrients , i didnt read the plant and didnt know about tip burn , i thought the problem was LAck fo nutes so i added some more.

start over,or tell your "friend" to start over.Beyond repair IMO

Hahah I just did this on a couple plants! I thought I was burning it (was not) so I backed off the feeding! Hahaha! Well, when cannabis gets Hungary she GETS HUNGRY!
