Plants are up and drying at a perfect 55 degrees 60% humidity. Hopefully we can stretch the drying process a little longer this time. It was hard as hell drying in the summer. The scrog tent was a pain in the ass like no other. It took me a like two hours to take down the plants. Im not using that method next time. Too much bs. Tent cleaned, babies transplanted and put under stronger light in the tent. I did a little lst, topping and took a few fans off that were blocking new branch sites. Other than that all is well.

All trimmed and bagged up in Grove bags. Its my first time using these so I guess we will see how things go. The flowers look decent and the smell is nice. I should have waited a little bit longer to flip them after scrogging though. I believe the buds would have been bigger had I not flipped right after. I'm sure the one gallon pots had something to do with it as well as the genetics. All in all I think I did pretty good considering I ended up with 10 oz of trimmed flowers. Im sure they will still lose a little bit of weight as they sweat during the curing process. I still have three ounces from my previous run too. Haven't even touched the chunky big buds! I do have some bad news though. Im pretty sure I will be moving to a new place in the next month or two. My lease is up and my slumlord is asking for a huge rent increase. Says the Chicago Housing Authority is paying $1800/month for a unit like mine to house migrants. After three years of being a solid tenant and paying $1100/month without any issues I am being pushed out. I am looking for a new place as we speak. It sucks because I really liked this place. It was perfect for my needs and no landlord inspections or surprise visits which is very important for me. I might have to downsize to a 2x4 tent if my new place is smaller. It is what it is. I have enough flower for a year as of right now. Lol! Anyways; I had a couple babies in my tent that I was planning on growing out a lot bigger but I have already put them into flower due to my unexpected circumstances. I figured an ounce or two of premature flowers is better than nothing. I won't be starting another serious run until I figure out my whole living situation. The plants are one week into flower right now. I will keep you all updated.

Thanks!

Did some more LST to open them up so they can get more light. Accidently broke one of the branches but they should recover. Its crazy how much these plants grow during stretch. They are two weeks into flower here and 5 weeks old altogether. Ill update in a few weeks.

Plants have started week 4 of flower. Not much else to do but just watch them finish up. I did top dress them with some castings and two tablespoons of Gaia bloom. The little plants on the bottom are going to be my reveg experiment. I'm curious to see how long this process really takes. Still looking for a new place. Although I'm hoping I can come to some kind of agreement with my landlord and stay here. I hate moving. Too much stuff.

Cheers!

Best of luck finding a affordable living space that you can grow in. Hard times for folks who rent now adays. Lots of patience needed for those little flowering clones to reveg, Good luck in your journey.

Coming up on week six in a couple days. Went ahead and fed them a bit as they are a little hungry. Gaia can take a while to become available so I gave them some organic liquid food. Ill do a final top dress next week. Wish I could have vegged them longer.

I'm gonna go ahead and transplant into something a little bigger in a few days. Plants seem fine though. Thanks.
Are those real mushrooms? It's probably a dumb question. I was just thinking I might as well start growing them as well. Are they difficult to grow? I've already got the infrastructure.

Went ahead and transplanted into 1 gallon pots. Thought I had enough soil to put them in 2.5 gallon pots but I didn't. I'll do a final transplant into 5 gallon pots in a few weeks when I get more. Ill top them when I'm back home on Tuesday as well. Started foliar spraying Castille Hemp and Peppermint soap/Peppermint horticultural oil/neem oil/water ipm regimen. I think thats pretty much it.

Cheers Yall!
I don't know much but I know if you move that reflective material up higher towards the light it'll have a better angle at refracting light toward the plants. Set it between the plants and the light.

Haha. Not real mushrooms. I wish. Lol. They are just decorations. I've grown mushrooms before. It's a totally different process. I was actually thinking about trying it again soon. Mushrooms are super cool! Especially the magic ones! 😉

Id say another week maybe two tops. Plants look great and smell fantastic! Very dense flowers as always. Im impressed they grew so much given they were flowered at three weeks. The new soil recipe was way better. Roots Organic is my go to from now on. Night and day in comparison to the ocean forest imo.

Thanks!

Still swelling. They'll get the axe next week. Turned out really nice! Dense as hell and smells delicious. I think its safe to say I've dialed this strain in. Next ones gonna be 1 big plant for the whole tent I think. Lots of training! I actually have a healthy mutant that just sprouted. Going on 2 weeks. I've never had a cool morph like this before. Im gonna mainline her I think since it's perfect.

Going on day 4 of dry right now. I've got to get a cloner in the next couple of weeks. Think I'm just gonna keep a mom and try cloning out for a while. Wanna learn new things and have some fun at this point. I have enough weed for a year already. Lol. My mutant seedlings is doing good. Loving the tent life!

You don't need a cloner buddy.
Cloning powder, gel, what ever your preference, some root riot plugs, some warmth about 76 F, and a little water every few days and you'll have rooted clones in 14 days.

Yea. I know. Ive just had way better success with a system in place before. Im usually out of town so I need for everything to be cool for a few days at a time. Im gonna build one myself with a Rubbermaid plastic tote and a fogger/atomizer. Unless I find a used one for cheap.

Went ahead and topped her. Ill transplant into at least a 5 gallon in a week or so. Probably move up to a 7 gal if im gonna grow her real big. Idk if it's necessary tho. Gonna build a nice scrog net for the tent too. Gonna be a long veg for sure. Im gonna get a dehumidifier and a window ac unit too. Just so im prepared for this summer. I did okay without them last year but it will def help a ton. My living room window ac unit didn't cool my bedroom down ideally during hot days. Had to keep my bedroom door wide open which I didnt like. I still did pretty good regardless. I think that winter grown flowers always end up better. That dry winter climate turns the terp and trichome production right up. I leave the windows open during flower and that cold air really gets the plants going. At least I feel like that's the case. What do yall think?

Cold will bring on fall colors and I would imagine to some degree a little extra trichome production.
To get every last bit of trichomes that i can get i try to drop my RH to as close to 40% as I can get.

Shes recovering from the topping already. Finally, the growth spurt is here. Gonna start lsting her to open her up a bit. Another week and I'll transplant. Such a pretty little lady! Previous harvests flowers turned out great too! Im extremely surprised with the the outcome and the weight. Especially considering how small the plants were when I put them into flower.

Cheers yall!

Its been three weeks since transplant and all is well. Plant has recovered from topping and is growing fine. Started some lst and took off some unnecessary foliage. Ill go ahead and top dress in a week or so. Ill transplant her when I move into my new apartment. Gonna keep her in the small pot to make transportation easy. My solo cup plants are starting to reveg it looks like. I'll go ahead and transplant them too after I'm settled into my new place. Other than that all is well.

Cheers yall!
