I filled out a police report. They said the state of TN is actually going to press charges for this kind of thing even if I don’t apparently. Even if there was no resident this isn’t TVA nor public land, and in these cases the state still pursues charges if the property owner doesn’t

He was cooperative with the warden and police and managed to not get arrested. Probably because I’m just going to let the state press charges and that would have been more paperwork

And because I actually didn’t tell them about him chambering a round or trying to be intimidating. Just his refusal to be cooperative with me over this.

I’d like to think that will maybe stand out in his head about all this. If i see him out here ever again though I’m not even going to interact with him, I’m just going to call the police and claim he used his weapon to try and intimidate me and it’ll be his word against mine at that point.

What actually bothers me now most, is if the wardens think this property is one of concern with this kinda thing, the wardens can enter and inspect/search private property without warrants unlike police officers. I don’t want game wardens having this property on their radar

True but most of the times unless you have a massive op going they won’t even worry about it, all they care about is illegal hunting fishing and trapping. Nerve wracking though when you shouldn’t have to be put through stress on your own property.

I’ve been threatening to throw EVERYTHING AWAY! Hahaha! We got spaces for shit! I built them a shoe bench I made an awesome front entry way coat rack with cubbies for stuff! I lost my shit on them one night when I sat my ass on the sharp end of a pencil in the couch! Oh they got to experience “mad dad” for sure hahahah!

Mother tent is looking great, kahuna 3 ready to get clones taken, the Frostette is right there another few days and she’ll have the nodes I want to get some cuts and then we begin!

The kahuna 3 will be cut probably tomorrow morning or maybe even tonight she’s at 9.5 weeks

Kahuna 2 has about a week and a half left I’m choppin her at 8 weeks then i start setting up the beds, one goes in the 4x4 and 2 into the 4x8. Gotta decide how I wanna screen the tent still

No one has lived here til this fall for 5 years and i dont actually have a car i use an Ebike or just get rides. Epilepsy so no driving.

I think he thought i came from somewhere else to stop him, and i didnt care to discuss anything further with him, and if the state presses charges regardless what i do, then fantastic. I dont have to go to court.

I had a 38 on my chest under my ski jacket, but im also not one to play chicken with someone who bucks up on knee jerk alone, let the warden deal with the unnecessary aggression etc.

Was just gonna trade contact info so he could let me know when he'd be out there so i could keep my dogs inside the fence.

Hunters like this guy are the reason a lot of things that should be completely unnecessary happen. This is tenesee and he was armed with a chambered round. I could have shot him, and after much court hoopla would likely have faced no consequences simply because he was being threatening with a round in his chamber on m private property and my prints werent on shit on his person.

It’s been my experience that once you call the Game Warden in for anything , you can expect to be on his “radar”.

Deer season is about over. Hopefully if the area stays quiet, you won’t see him around. Good luck
