Hey, I'm kinda interested in octapots and your euphoria I have a couple of seeds as well. Would like to know about flavours and the high, did you grew them before?
Which are the main differences you recognize between fabric and octapots?

I have not grown Euphoria before. These are my first photoperiods. I have been growing autoflowers in buckets before now. I really don't miss top feeding or worrying when it is the right time to water.

What kind of setup are you running?

I had the lights too intense in the Euforia tent. The dli was at 43 and the chart I follow suggests 38 during week 3 of flower. She hasn't been stretching and I think I have figured out why.

I’ll say this about Octopots. It’s like cheating it is so easy.
No more worrying about stunting Autos by overwatering.
Proceed with Confidence and prepare for amazing results!

Oh okay i see. Started with autos and same some of my first photo runs as well.

I am currently running 3 plants in a 3x3 with 150w viparspectra xs1500 pro upgraded 2023v(way too less light with a full tent)
will be soon the veg light and be replaced with the spider farmer se5000.
I am using air pots, like em very much good ventilation and y also see when the pot is full and it start dropping out of the holes. Soon packing out the auto pots too.

Got ya with the top dress, don't like it either.

Go easy with her, she shall be a very finicky plant and also a huge stretcher.
Good idea to look after dli which is not that necessary as on autos but if something's wrong better go for it and give it a quick fix.

riSoon packing out the auto pots too.
I was about to go with autopots too. I was talking to a representative on Instagram and he told me not to use organic inputs in the reservoir. I like my organics and synthetics and was on the fence. I saw an add for Octopots, and knew, this was the system for me.

Why did you choose autopots?

I was running spider farmer lights and came across some lights on Alibaba and gave them a try. I went with Kingbrite P55's in the tents, 240 watt, 301h Evo diodes, warm and cool, and orasam 660 and 730 red diodes. I have it on full blast and it was delivering 43 dli for 12 hrs at 22 inches. That's power.

For my closet I have chosen Bavagreen. I ordered 3 150 watt lights with the same Evo diodes and far red along with switches for the uv and ir. I was not a fan of uv but I am going to play with it a bit. these lights will replace the Spider farmer sf 1000evo's. They have been great lights but I am trying to grow big trees.

The Kingbrite lights are made very well and are performing great. My tent size is 70x70x200 which I also bought off Alibaba. If you can wait over a month for your lights, I would recommend buying them direct from China. Spider Farmer is made in China

Guess he mentioned that using organics in autopots could block the tubes e.g. though alga.
It could get prevented with cleaning and using cleaning additives which are common in hydroponic.

I chose autopots because i liked the idea of getting rid of watering (damaged by my first good autoflower plant which needed at least 3 days of watering a day in flower.. maybe life gets easier with that system.
Put a big water container next to it and leave it for a week or two, maybe go on holiday.
It never happend. Didn't bought the whole system.
After two runs with them not using the whole system just the pots with the bottoms, two pots next to eachother.

Decided to buy air pots and from that time, I switched the media from Coco to peat and since then i used only them for canna.
The autopots for tomatoes/peppers outdoor but will use em this year also for some auto strains on, because it's now legalized.(Did it at that time too). 🤪

Heared some good of those lights.
I know their facilities can be same or outcompete others, but they could fake certifications, skipping sth. because it's more costy, using other diodes as written..they're maybe faking certifications idk the list is endless 😆
Long story short I don't trust Chinese.

Want it safe as possible rather than a burning house. My mind is more pleased.
Saw several brands got a leakage on their quality like power cables which start burnin'.

Lumatek was my first choice, because used here for decades with good results and made in enland.
But now I'm up with spider farmer because of the cost-effectiveness and it fits better in my tent.
Some guys tried the SF on wholesaler and said they drain less wattage or output as written. I stick to the pricey product.

Flipped to 12/12 on the OG Kush.
Wouldn't flip yet, the plant doesn't look healthy enough to, imo.
Serverals issues here.
outbleaching leaves because too intense light, lack of n, mag, probably some more will show up which will get quickly worse into flower.

The most anxious if seen on your plant is that.

Could be sth. like a pigment disorder, dunno the exact name of it, but nothing harmful.
Worst would be the Hop latent viroid (HLVd) then you could be screwed. Not common, so it's probably an other issue, false until proven by someone more experienced.
Reach out of the shadows, share your knowledge to help him out on that.

Never the less, I'd veg em at least a week more and try to find out what's going on and fix all those issues before flipping.

I have been having nitrogen issues since I switched to grow big hydro. The nitrogen ratio is lower than the regular grow big. I meant to add urea a few days ago but forgot. if you compare the first photo I posted to the current photo you can tell it is yellowing

Idk man...the issue is present and getting worse, but y still ridin' it like there is none.
Btw. Urea not a good source of nitrogen.
It's up to you, continue and i don't see a happy ending..

urea is one of the best source of N.

The standard crop-nutrient rating (NPK rating) of urea is 46-0-0. Hence, it contains 46 % elemental nitrogen (N) 0 % elemental phosphorous (P), and 0 % elemental potassium (K).

usually diluted so much it's high in N.

Man, I felt like I was getting beaten up a little. Thanks for stepping in. I am not new. Just new to octopots

Lets shift gears shall we.

Here is the Hulkberry Auto from RQS in the closet. I think these two have hit the reservoir.

The highest source, but not the best imo.
Urea contains ammonia which could gas out of the media and it's really beneficial to the microbes.
For some maybe the best, nothing for my garden.
