I'm running 3 different strains and all of them are at day 15 from flip. The pistil formation varies between them a very much.

My consideration here is when I take cuts at day 21, that the impact on the plant will be different as well, maybe stunt them or stress too hard, too early in the flowering stage and they herm later?

Is it better to give the slow promotion plants some days more and do the defol/cuts then?

By cuts do you mean pruning or taking cuttings?

I defoliate and prune once the stretch is finished usually after day 21 of flower, however a long flowering strain may stretch for a longer period.

I'm going to lollipop the plant around 30-40%, heavy defoliation/ pruning and take off lower not enough promoted shoots I left for the reason to take em as cuttings and revegging them.
Should have been lollipopping and pruning before flip but I wanted to try it like that and now see there is no way around.
Also worring about the benefit of revegging will not take place with not enough developed shoots/buds, could that be true?

If you are going to reveg it, rather than reveg the whole plant, take a cutting from the bottom of the plant and clone it. Reveg the resulting clone.

yeah almost there for some phenos.
Do y wait for a couple's amber or whats your preference?
Why don't like that fade, just because the colored buds or is there another reason, like taste changes or sth.?

i usually wait for a couple amber inside the buds, those fading the most are not necessarely the most advanced in their flowering still some weeks to go, they're fading a bit too early to my taste.

I prefer to wait until I'm about 50% amber.
Fading in your leaves are caused by cold air, think cold fall nights, leaves change just like leaves on a tree and due to nitrogen depletion,

Waiting this long could degrade your trichomes into alot of CBN, and as well the terps¿?
It was and is hard for me to determine the exact chopping point.
I know what to look for but y know...shit happens. Two grows back I ruined the terps on two autoflower. They were incredible intense, strawberry and the other one like Hubba bubba chewing gum. Waited a little longer to get a little amber and recognized they're changing their odors and the magic faded, roughly. Pulled it directly after noticing and even with a longer cure I didn't get those specific flavours back.
Trying to chop next time when the Flavours are two weeks on point, after that i think they change again.

Does it make sense to preserve the flavours that way or wasted because a lack of riped trichomes?

Kahuna 2 week 8

She got a bit neglected but she aiight 🤣
