She’s a bit more sensitive but we’ll see how she does in this next run then I’ll decide who’s the top dog out of the 3

The cman x okie x haymeadow finally decided to show itself. Expecting great things from these

All the others are already photosynthesizing

And in other news I left the bathroom open last night and the kitten got into my maui86 mother plant and filled it full of piss. I think she’ll be fine tho, removed the top couple inches of soil root and all then flushed about 15 gallons thru the pot. Was watering day anyway she should be just fine. She’s already looking happier then when I got up today

good thing the new tent is out for delivery.

i fucking hate game wardens. they have more (un-elected) policing powers than any other leo. more than a us marshal. they get to be their own judge and swear out and issue their own warrants on the fly and search anything at all that they choose to...
But they also get paid less then either.

I’ve never personally met a game warden that abuses their power. I know they can and do, but it’s as rare here as it is for a Leo to *not* abuse their power.

Here in tn most the wardens seem to be doing the job because they care about this area and the wildlife, but most the cops here seem like they have the job because their life doesn’t tickle their ego and sense of self worth the right way for their psychopathic mind.

When I see Twra wardens they are usually doing their job as the job requirements demand. Rarely are they power tripping or enforcing things just because they can.

I’m not defending the unconstitutional power of a game warden at all, but I am absolutely acknowledging that I’ve personally never had a run in with one who abused that power. (I know it happens, humans are humans, but if you think game wardens attract the same narcissistic power trippers the Leo academy does… in most cases you’re very wrong.

If I didn’t have epilepsy and could drive I’d have been very interested myself in being a Tera game warden tbh. I think I would love that job and be good at it both honestly. Police officer tho? Strong hell no to that one.

Anyways, my point is that the game wardens tend (not always, but usually) to attract a completely different kind of person then a police academy does. The reason it would interest me, is rooted in how much I care for this land. It’s wildlife, and most the people that live within it.

Similar applies to the parks rangers in my experience. Those *tend to be people who actually care about what they are doing.

I know..it is a hardly discussed topic but by know planning to buy the new SE5000 soon, thought about to add a Supplemental light as well: https://www.spider-farmer.com/produ...plemental-led-grow-light-bars-set-for-plants/

What are your experience with the supplemental lights from spider farmer or other brands with the same nm's, weather the UV, IR or Far Red, I know some of you are using them and or did a side by side test too?

Migro said that UV 365nm has no measurable response, but maybe you experienced better trichome appearence, color sth.?

Adding the 730nm IR makes sense for me because the light just provide 630nm. Deep Red is already in the light so not that necessarily, imo.

As Spider farmer also mentioned it before they reveal their "benefits"...
To quote SF:
In some main light sources, a few 365nm UV diodes and 730nm IR diodes may just be a marketing gimmick, and in reality, their intensity may be insufficient.

Could it be that those lights get absorbed by the stronger SE5000 and therefore leading to not be that efficient?

Please share everything y know about!
Have a good day everybody, weekend is close!

the only led's in the UV kinda area i actually had a noticable resin content increase was with far blue actinic UV led's roughly 10k color temp. Approaching UV but ot actually UV, but they also make it VERY easy to burn your plants through unintended exposure. I made the bars myself with loose led,'s and a homemade rectifier bridge and filter tough. Didnt use anything brand supplied

My led UV supplementation also had better resukts along side HPS then it ever did wth my led panels, i didnt keep messing with UV after i switched to LED panels. Actinic LED's produced noticable resin content increase supplementing HPS. Removing them from the led setups produced no loss. IIRC actinic UV's are most commonly used in saltwater aquariums with living plants and coral.

My full spectrum panels with UV leds also light burn and magnesium strip my plants much easier then my full spectrum panels without UV LEDs.

I personally dont consider UV worth messing with if you are already running LED panels. never messed with far red or anything else because the panels already pretty well cover the far red.

Make of this what ye will lol.

The columbian dominant sativa is very cool smoke.

Early harvest knocked out by hurricane helene. Surprisingly Very potent. Spikey. Aggressive look. Edgy and racey. Smells mostly sweet and vaguely fruity
IMG 2893

Shaded lower buds knocked out by hurricane in October. Smokes completely differently. Earthy smell, no sweetness at all. Also surprisingly potent but a lot less edgy. The popcorn’s are visually the nicest looking buds tbh.

November harvested ripe flower (did see a week straight rain before harvest. 16” of it. Also not trimmed very well) Smell is cheesecakey, the skunkyness has faded a lot in cure.

Potency is mild, but not bad, high is super comfy and warm, great mood, zero sharp edges. Flavor is wonderful, sweet but not fruity. Hard to describe/label

This one plant was like having several plants in one lol.

I have the kind and they recommend adding in the red as flower progressed. The red would burn my plants. Now I will say I had no idea what I was doing on my first grow and I had the driver 100% on the light and the dial, I overwatered , there was fungus gnats galore, I eventually got that under control. The plants looked terrible, trimming left my hands stuck with goo that wouldn’t wash off. Buds were way sticker than growing them properly 😂🤷‍♂️

yea i can, and likely plan on it, but its going to be over time. Much of this property is forested. He came in through a pine barren and half the ground through there is exposed bedrock. Ordered several no trespassing signs to post along the game trails

I got a cave in there too ill have to take some pics of it and the terrain and the barren theyre coming in on when its not so icy out. Its cold as fuck today

the terrain though will make it an expensive and ugly task i dont want to do unless i absolutely have to. Its already partially fenced but its old and decrepit.

Very nice! Very shiny. Did you say it will have a satin finish?
Yes it will

I snapped a pic of a fresh spray just to show the leveling coming along nicely.

I did this the broke lazy way. I didn’t grain fill the wood before the first coats so I’m just leveling between the satin clear sprays. I’ve cut several corners to meet a strict budget with it

More satisfying progress. It’ll prob be good for the final coat after this next level sand. The final coat will spray thick enough to keep that orange peel texture away. Will have the body mounted to a 2x2 so I can keep it rotating for a min or two to avoid and runs
