Hi all,

I've used the Fox Farm Trio and Dyna Grow with good results, but I'm itching to try something else..

I'd really like something with a well written with an honest feed chart... Both Dyna Grow and Fox Farm roasted my plants following the feed charts, but after a few grows, I've learned to cut the recommended dose in half. I don't like this !

I could use Dyna Grow again, I probably will, but I'm up for trying something new... Please note: I am quite aware that most nutrients are all the same thing, just slightly different N P K ratios and Micro nutrients. I get this ! I'd be willing to switch to a new brand of nutrients for a well written feed guide...

Thanks !

I use General Hydroponics, they have very good feed charts.
Their #'s come in low when mixing in 0 ppm RO water. my
plants don't start getting burnt tips until appx 1900 ppm, I
run between 1200-1400ppm in hydro. I get ragged on for
using liquid nutes, but it's what I learned on, it's what I'm
comfortable with and my results speak for themselves.
but like jimmy said: Bring your wallet.

I’ve had my eye on this nutrient line for a while, thanks for the tip.

Thanks for the feed chart as well, I’m reading it now!

Keep in mind that manufacturers' feed charts are reasonably good for telling us what ratios to feed and (to some degree) in what amount, but they're no good at all for telling us when to feed. For example, if we look at the GH chart, it's tempting to think we should feed every week, because there's a column for every week on the chart. If you're in an amended soil mix and feed every week in the amounts they recommend, you'll be over-fed pretty quickly. Correct feeding frequency and amount depend on a bunch of variables that the manufacturers can't know, including grow system, plant health, plant size, pot size, etc etc. They'd have to publish a lot of charts to have one that applies perfectly to every situation.

yeah, i agree. i think the GH charts are better suited to hydro. even in hydro, most recommendations i've seen say you should start the week with a fresh batch at full strength and then just top off with plain water and adjust ph for the rest of the week. that's no Buenos for me and my extreme growing method. i keep them (reservoirs) topped up every day @ full strength with no ill effects. right now my 2 week old seedlings are getting week 4 feeding on the aggressive chart. they have only been on the 'slabs for 3 days and they're already growing so fast that i can see changes hour by hour. the 2 - 800w lights are at 90% & 44" above the tops (mainly running that high to help heat the house, the plants eat it up though so it's a win win) 💪 👊👍

I stopped using a chart after my first grow. I followed recommendations I saw here for a few grows. Eventually, I began feeding them when they looked like they were getting hungry. I add Gaia Green nutrients into my soil mixture along with numerous other amendments, like azomite, for example. I also supplement what's in the soil with water-in nutrients that are made from fish, seaweed and kelp. I've also been watering in potassium silicate during vegetation. The life stage of the plant matters, especially before changing the light for flowering.

Thanks, I've never seen this website and am having a look now. It looks amazing !
Yeah for sure.
The international sales manager for phive8 runs that feed chart and developed it, and his flower is out of control!
All of this depends on your medium though!
Running canna coco id use new millennium, but soil id run organic!
I use Gaia green all purpose and power bloom outdoors and that stuff is incredible!

Green leaf mega crop
18 bucks per 3lb bag
Soluble, keeps easy.
I grow at least 70 plants per run,
Alot of the time waaaay more than that,
One of those bags lasts me 4-6 months with ease, at 50 grams every 4 days, per 10 gallon feed basin for veg

I have also ran 31 different strains at once using the stuff, not one plant bitched.
Its the most versitile nutrient i have ever ran.
Its ambrosia.

OK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am just here for a few seconds and don't have time to reply right now, but I will be back to ask you a MILLION questions. (hope you dont mind)...

You read my mind ! I'm 5 grows in now and am still not quite sure I'm feeding correctly and this is why. Generally, I feed once a week...

I'll be back, this is what I was looking for (along side a good nutrient line)

Thanks !

I'm listening ! My bottled nutrients are on the shelf too long as it is, I'm thinking I need to go with powder (dry)... I was unaware taht liquid nutes have a shelf life but just discovered this today reading up on some of the brands you all recommend...
