I always think that these dates are arbitrary because every strain is a little different and each one has a tendency to grow vegetative a little bit stronger than others and vice versa in flower so people say day 21 you know when the plant is making the switch into full on flower mode after the stretch But I’ve never really understood why people say to stress out and already stressed out plant because when it’s switching over to fall on veg at day 21of flower, it’s one of the most stressful points in a plant’s life because it’s literally changing the physiology of the plant in order to suit its nutritional needs for p and k
That being said that’s why I really kind of snatch leaves periodically (light handed, no bull in the china shop shit, if you are a heavy handed individual, I generally like to let a plant sit for three weeks to recuperate before I even think about making the flip the flower if you take a bunch of leaves at once and stalks, I always find that a heavy handed approach will extend your veg time at the end of the day, if you’re in a hurry) the entire time just trying to keep in mind towards opening up nodes or trying to be a couple of steps ahead of some potential mid canopy that will eventually be upper canopy, only strategic plucking of obtrusive fans. But on that plant as well.
There’s in my opinion, a pretty decent amount of pruning that needs to occur in towards the main stalk of the plant
It’s fucking thick in there, dude.
As far as remedying that container at the trunk, if you have any solo cups around, I would go ahead and get four of them, split them in half vertically and fit them around it removing whatever portions of the bottoms of the cups you need toand then duct tape it
Even better if you can and you have a zip strips if it’s possible to do just put zip strips around it and pull them tight cinching everything back together
