Grow diary mission impossible (low to medium budget lol)

The TrainWrecks! and that GAS86’!? look at those HKs!!! they are only getting water/recharge for now. and I raised the light as high as I could get it. the sf1000 is turned to about 38% over the gas86’ all but two cali blues have broke ground (one is in the process) I up potted the northern lights 86’ along with one of the Frostettes. and now im basically out of new soil and have been playing around with the idea of re using… not going to do it. I have stuff thats in pots loaded with nutes id have to flush or I have pots on the deck with no nutes in them from having getting rained on but those have gnats in them! is that worth killing with the captain jacks dead bug? for 30 bucks I can get a bag that will get me by, maybe two bags. we’ll see. I dont think im going to start in pro mix this round because its still a little intimidating sounding to me. I like having ph buffers and a few extra days to water if I need it.
my last harvest is drying nicely. the first plants (minus the GDLs) are dried and I LOVE the smoke, it works in the head department also! its sweet smelling like dough until you break it open then it turns to this really funky sour smell with a hint of “oak cologne smell” holy shit thats the part that I love. its like smoking a fine perfume lol!

I remember the days of using the Ol' DeWalt for 2 hours straight, making some holes in solo cups!! I have upgraded to a wood burning tool. Way easier.......sometimes get a little buzz from the burning plastics!?!

I was thinking about a wood burner as I my arm was starting to tingle! you know what dude!? Im going to look into getting one! I’ll do it outside though to avoid frying my last remaining brain cells thanks for the idea and sharing!

Got some stuff done in the in shed today. Hoping maybe to complete it tomorrow as im so tired of the door to the flower room and panda paper partition for the veg! Getting those things complete will allow me to get the press out there and start looking at making that drying space I was supposed to already have done hahaha! Going to try and start working on a cloner also. Same sprayer setup just with a smaller tote.

The Cali blues took to their up potting so far. They are still just getting drops or slight mist to the soil twice if that a day. I really dont like seedlings, they stress me the F out! Hahaha!

Thank you! It’s a great space! Just enough to not be cramped! It took me 7 years of storing crap in it and wanting a nice space for veggie starts in the spring to make the change and then it’s been a work in progress since last year! : ) Hahaha! Then I was like… “why am i not growing weed in here!?!?” Hahaha! I was going to put together a few of the pics from the beginning last year in a few days.

pro tip for your next remodel: cover the ceiling in 1/2" plywood
painted flat white. this way you can sink screws wherever you
need them without worrying about having to hit rafters

No doubt! I like having the lights going into the joists but would love and could have used so many times to be able to sink the light duty screw for almost everything else! Thanks for the pro tip!

we used like 5/8-3/4" back in the outlaw days. full sheets would only have like 8 screws in them; that way if you ever had to bug out in a big fucking hurry, you could pull 8 screws and the whole shooting match would come crashing down quick. never happened to me, but i know of people who had to resort to that. it would probably be cost prohibited today, that's the only why i said 1/2"

“the chicken shack” seriously though I usually smoke out in the garage but I may switch it up to out there in the veg room once it’s all set up as the “space”. pressing, vegging, planting, mixing nutes, smoking out : ) more money and time but I really need a second filter on the veg room because things are going t be stanky this next round of flower! : )

Slow progress on the room. It’s getting there though. The Raskals that were inside on the rack are now out in room with one side of my make shift light on for heat (was able to maintain 68F overnight). How about venting/ fans? I too made due when first moved to lights then LED. Lots of cheap household LED bulbs that are easily adapted to work by removing bulbs protector shield. Food for thought. If U have a will u can find diy hacks until you get longer lasting complete coverage, lights, takes time to search for a Way that works for U.
