My Blue Skunk and Autos are in SubCools that I made this last summer. Water only baby

Hell yeah! My problem was I was gunna do a 3x3 bed (70 gallons) plus 60 gallons for the 2x 30’s but a normal full coots mix woulda been around 700 but I woulda been about 40gallons of soil short,

Did some math and with how good the saturated paste tests etc on the dominion and the light recipe so I’m doing 2x dominion plus 1 light per 30 gallon to be the starting base for the living soil in each bag then Landrino white clover plus a 14 clover mix cover crop, gunna have some red wigglers, using straw as mulch I have a bale but imma par boil it to sterilize it since it’s in a garbage bag and closed up outside or I may pick up something else but we’ll see gunna get the coots gnarly barley sprouted seed mix and a few other things to throw on top right before flower, awesome looking soil… but imma push it still, organic teas etc gunna be fun but nerve wracking switching from my current method completely all at once haha

I have the 2x 130gallon beds (34”x34”34” half above ground half in ground, open bottom) out in the garden that’s the full diameter above and blow in each bed that was dug out, amended and put back in lol 1 plant in each one this summer, not going for monsters, just want a few nice plants to look at in the veggie garden when I’m out there workin all day lol

Morning bluejay and cardinal feeding lol, like 9 bluejays wait and yell at us every morning at 6am waiting for their whole unshelled peanuts and sunflower seeds the cardinals there’s 2 males and 2 females that are always where, summertime we have about 10 doves now that come back to their nests around our house all year this is their bushes they wait in for us to put out food lol

This bluejay is like their leader he watches for food then calls the rest of the squad and they all show up lol fun watching The babies

Almost ready

Once I have the new mother clones rooted I’ll change up the mother tent setup so it’s easier to adjust light intensity for long term mother storage

The 8 barrina grow bars on those 3 lower shelves will be removed and I’m considering ustilizing all 8 for under canopy lighting in both of the other tents

Spiderfarmer SF600 in the 2x4 and a phlizon pl1000 in the 2x2

I think you might have some massive plants in those outdoor beds, that’s a lot of root space. It’s pretty cool that you want them to enhance the look of your garden, if cannabis plants stayed in flower longer and didn’t die I bet lots of people would grow them as ornamental plants, they are extremely beautiful plants in my opinion.

Five plants crammed into a 3x3? Very similar to my last run, is your cman x okie shorter than the rest? Mine was about 1/2 the height of the other 4 I ran, ended up pulling her out and stuffing her in a 2x2 solo.

Thanks guys for those detailed response, sorry for my late reply.

the only led's in the UV kinda area i actually had a noticable resin content increase was with far blue actinic UV led's roughly 10k color temp. Approaching UV but ot actually UV, but they also make it VERY easy to burn your plants through unintended exposure. I made the bars myself with loose led,'s and a homemade rectifier bridge and filter tough. Didnt use anything brand supplied


My led UV supplementation also had better resukts along side HPS then it ever did wth my led panels, i didnt keep messing with UV after i switched to LED panels. Actinic LED's produced noticable resin content increase supplementing HPS. Removing them from the led setups produced no loss. IIRC actinic UV's are most commonly used in saltwater aquariums with living plants and coral.


My full spectrum panels with UV leds also light burn and magnesium strip my plants much easier then my full spectrum panels without UV LEDs.


I personally dont consider UV worth messing with if you are already running LED panels. never messed with far red or anything else because the panels already pretty well cover the far red.

Your post definitely helped to make my decision about supplemental lights.

Not going to buy one soon and if I'd give the cold light 10k-25k in bulbs or led a go just as booster in the last weeks of flower and only for experimenting.
But to do that I need a few more runs with the same strains and a new light first of all.

I have the kind and they recommend adding in the red as flower progressed. The red would burn my plants. Now I will say I had no idea what I was doing on my first grow and I had the driver 100% on the light and the dial, I overwatered , there was fungus gnats galore, I eventually got that under control. The plants looked terrible, trimming left my hands stuck with goo that wouldn’t wash off. Buds were way sticker than growing them properly

Which kind exactly? the combo or just red, far red or IR?
Have y done a side by side test since your first time with them?

Supplemenral lighting itself as in under canopy lighting I may be trying this time I have 4’ barrina grow bars I may light up my under canopy with or side lighting wrapped around the tent we’ll see, then I have the 2021 version of the mars hydro FC-E8000 (840w) on the left side of the tent, and I bought the supplemtal UV/IR bars that go with it but I split the 2 bars one on each side of the 4x8, other light is a @PhlizonGrowLight FD6500 (640w) on the right side of the tent both great lights, UV bars I’ve only really tried the first year I had em they’ve just been up there since then, this run I plan to run them in 15 or 30 minute increments once at lights on, 15 mins preferred, once at mid day (plant time noon, 30mins on) then hour before lights out another 15 minutes, may tweak or but we’ll see

I got the option to get them anytime so by now I'm just looking for the SE5000 and wait for your valid tests with those pretty lights!

I gotta be honest I’ve had a few of the ugly ones that just crushed it in the smoke and high dept. almost feel like certian strains so better with that really bad stress somehow lol

I’m finding the same thing with this run clones of last run they got that drought stressed they all nearly fell over now covered in trichs way more trich coverage than last run so maybe I fkd up good

It was a purposeful mistake… I mean ancient Mayan technique to increase trich production long forgotten throughout the ages. Good work!

I’ve been stacking stuff under her to keep her in the canopy

Same with pb3. Pb3 isn’t stretching as much as I expected. She’s budding out just as good as everything else she just didn’t gmstretch out between the nodes much like the cman okie

PB3 and cman gonna cola up VERy nicely. Gonna be some checkers on those two

I actually had 6 in there last time. And it’s actually a 32x32 not a full 3x3

Just did my first light defoliation pass. Final lollipop soon.

Day 31 of my So Cal outdoor winter grow. A rat got into the greenhouse two weeks ago before the winds obliterated it. Got the rat. Started bringing them up onto the back patio at night and a few nights ago something significantly larger than a rat took some of my best branches. I probably lost a good 1/2 ounce off my yield. Now I'm bringing them in at night, at least until Mrs. NinaDogma complains about the smell. They're due for a bug treatment but the winds have been too nasty... So I was glad to see reinforcements have arrived to the front line.
