Hey there @FloridaMike love the set up bro!!
Back in the day we ran a nice hashplant, flood and drain in pebble beds.....ah the old days!

How did you get the leaf temps? Are you able to move one plant left and right of the troubled hashplant for a couple more readings.

I would say it could be as simple as that specific plant (strain) cannot handle the light output as well as the others. It seems as though all the other variables are on point and definitely in the sweet zone

Help please,

What causes this clawing? It's mostly on the new tips of the Hash Plant,
but a couple of clones are starting it as well. The only things different on these
vs. the big nasty; are the lights (800w vs 720w), & the addition of Hydrogaurd
and Terpinator to the mix. Leaf-top temps averaging around 80f. Ph is checked
every couple hours and drifts between 5.8 & 6.2, (5.9 average) Reservoir temp
averages 74-78f. Light is on 24/7

*red circle is the plant it started with

What I've done so far:
Flushed with plain water for 2 hrs. Mix fresh batch of nutes.
Lowered light output from 70% down to 30%
Lowered the N and the overall nute mix from 1250 ppm to 1050ppm
Stop adding hydrogaurd and Terpinator. Dropped feeding from
continuous to 15 on, 15 off.

I am just monitoring now to see if it worsens or stabilizes

Any help or thoughts on this is greatly appreciated, THANK YOU!

I don't see a clawing issue in the pics... Looks more to me like some minor tacoing and the good news is since you backed off everything they should relax a little, the bad news is you may not find out what the true culprit was for dialing in better.

Peaceblaster 3 didn’t really stretch after the flip. She just added bud sites out the ass.

She’s gonna be straight colas 💚

to me just looks like that particular plant doesn’t like the amount of moisture sitting on its roots or it wants a little less N

Not N toxicity but definitely looks like she has more than she wants. The lime fade is a bit abrupt and def some clawing tips

When I was running hydro I tended to veg around 900 ppm on flood and drain and nft. and like 650ppm in DWC.

I also ran closer to an even NPK ratio over high N because I could avoid all the odd consistency issues when trying to run multiple generics on a single nutrient solution. The vegging was indeed just a bit slower, but still lightning compared to soil and I never had really any consistency issues that way between lineages. I only ever ran em hard in hydro when I was doing runs of single phenotypes I was super familiar with. The deminishing returns aren’t worth the consistency issues IMHO

The one thing I can def say that isn’t, is too much light. Your upper growth would be going the pale direction with some mid vein yellowing if that was the case

Some plants can do weird stuff in hydro with even mild ph swings even if staying within the range stable would be fine. Texture changes, light hooking and stuffs

Speaking of learning, big thanks to @PhlizonGrowLight for the new Dual Channel PH-D6! It’s actually been here but putting a package pickup slip in my mailbox was too much for the USPS Carrier.

I put it in the mix for the moment. Now it’s time to plot what to grow with it 😁

Blurple? Or is it like a supplemental uv/ir/fr?? Ohh I see veg and bloom switches. It’s like the viparspectra v300 I’ve got. I wish I had more space to run mine still. I’ve got just the thing for you, I just have to drop them in the mail 😉 lil lazy lightning ⚡️headed your way soon .

I should’ve harvested PB2 sooner.

She was all amber mid September. She went from cloudy to amber real fast.

@Putthataway @Captspaulding when ypur pb2 girlies are nearing the end, if they take after momma they may start ripening in the trichomes before you realize it. Fat dense buds but she left all the hairs on the outside and was further along then I thought when I cut her

Florida Mike 😁 Love your little palm tree over there in the right corner
That was a clone that I crushed the stem right at cube level like i
was super cropping it, when I was trying to stick it in the hole I
didn't ream out big enough. She never went into a 4" cube until
7 days ago when I slabbed everything up. Her and her neighbor
are just now starting to get their legs and take off. 💪 🤣💨

I didn't actually get leaf temps, that was average temp at canopy height as measured by ACI pro+ probe & wireless outdoor thermometer probe. If I measure with human infrared thermometer it's usually 75-80. I don't know how accurate that is though.
