First time grower just looking for some advice

The Photone app isnt bad but it isnt super accurate without the diffuser. The Tent Buddy app seems to be pretty accurate, id try that one if you wanna manage light intensity accurately and dont have a couple hundred $ to buy a real quality device for it...

That last plant looks like it might need a tad bit of nitrogen.

Pretty new grower as well, but i have a decent idea of what to do now haha

Glad to see that raising the light helped!
I believe the leaves on the last photo that where yellow was prior damage that wasn't gonna fix its self I plucked them leaves off and she seems to be happy and has actually grown 1"1/2 since yesterday morning when I plucked them lol. Not sure if they are related but she back to growing now.

No for the last pic of the GDP plant from today that I believe is showing puberty 😂 if feeding fox farm trio do I now stop giving grow big and just big bloom and tiger bloom or still give grow big for the week 4 feeding as the schedule states

Hey just from experience use a potting soil for seedlings in cups, with a little clear plastic cup ontop to keep humidity. The coco perlite mix is good but rough for seedlings to develop a base from. Harder to absorb nutrients from larger granular medium.

All the best with the grow

Continue with veg nutrients until about 3 weeks after flipping lights to 12 on 12 off.

Look into DLI. That will be what determines the amount of light you give to your auto. Daily Light Intake

Ok cause I have 3 other autos in the same tent that not showing hairs yet

I have looked into the DLI I have photone app and one other app but with me having a pixel 9 the DLI doesn't work correctly exactly. So I'm sure nothing else is either but I also have a light meter I know my umols are around 330 umols/ ppfd

Use the Tent Buddy app, its way more accurate :) and a pixel will do just fine, best cameras on the phone market

I can't find the tent buddy app and trust me I'm with u on the best camera my wife has the s24 ultra and all though she has better zoom I have way better clarity lol. But the pixel has a sun light sensor built in and the 9pro that throws off the readings. Ok photone I'm at like 285 on my hand held meter in at 330.

Day 25 update. The plants are doing great for the most part. I have started to train my photoperiod now that she has bounced back from the overwatering, light stress. 1st pic

2nd pic GDP auto she is doing good and handling the LST very well. I am having an issue still with the lower 3 inches of the soil staying moist and not drying out fully. I have place a fan down next to the pot to have direct air flow across the pot.

3rd pic Sour Diesel x OG kush auto. I know I shouldn't have tipped this plant but honestly it looks better today then it did yesterday before I toped her. Not looking to get much from this plant bad genetics all the way around by looking at the leaves.

4th pic is also SDxOGK auto. She is prolly the best of all the plants although she started out slowly. Day 1she poped the seed off cotyledon leaf yes you read correctly one 1 cotyledon. As she progresses in growing fan leaves her growth has sped up. Once again I'm thinking bad genetics.

5th pic is my final GDP auto not doing much but pulling fan leaves down on lower node and I did twist the upper nodes to help light hit inner growth.

I would think off of watching other grow diaries that my plants should be much bigger at this point in life but I did stunt growth pretty dramatically with multiple transplants and over watering and light stress. Thanks to the community though I believe we have turned it around for better.

I really debated on mainlining the photoperiod for a week or so and have done a lot of research regarding mainlining and LST for now I will stick to LST. Next grow I plan on mainlining a lemon mandarin photo from fast buds. Would love to hear any feedback on mainlining and fast buds genetics.

I didn't realize the soil meter in the pics lol I really don't rely on this much. I weigh my plants I know that a dry 3gallon pot weights 6.4 lbs. I use this to get roughly an idea of what moisture is.

I have one more SDxOGK growing but it's a complete different grow it's growing hydroponically it is also doing well I will post on this grow shortly in a different thread.

Ok so day 28 3 of the 5 plants are doing great. I now really understand that watering is not just water u have to find the exact science and everything for each plant. With that said I watered on Monday giving each plant the same amount of water to each plant. To find out later on Monday night that I had actually over watered two of the plants. Wasnt sure what was going on I let them sit and dry out. Yesterday morning they were both beginning to look better and perk up just a bit then back to dropping. This morning still drooping down the pots were completely dry I mean they complete dry well so I thought. Weight of the pots was 5.4 lbs my pot with just soil has never been watered weighs 6.4 soil felt dry like was in a desert dry. Gave around 200ML of bottled water perked right up for about 30 mins then right back to drooping. Couple hours later one plant is looking better starting to pick leaves back up about half way there. On the other plant not such good luck.

4th picture looks super underwatered, is that the one you were talking about in the other post?

I like to water until all the soil is wet, then let it dry until all the soil is mostly dry (dont wanna get all the way dry, that causes the droopy sad looking plant, can stunt the growth)

This encourages root growth and keeps the plant from getting dehydrated at the same time. Bigger roots means bigger everything else :)

Keep it up dude!

So she isn't dry at all. The soil in the center of the pot is soaking wet almost completely saturated to where the outside soil 11/2 or so from base is a little moist anything further from that is completely dry. Both the fourth and 5th pic looked the same this morning I left for couple hours came back and the 5th is now looking like this these are both recent photos like within 20 mins ago

Water from the edges, leave the center dry. This will encourage the roots to spread out.

I did exactly that the outer of the pot has dried out but the inner is still saturated. I have almost come to believe that the coco coir that I started the seeds in is acting as a sponge helping soak up the moisture out of the soil surrounding it keeping the center wet longer

Day 31 up date we have lost one of the GDP dues to overwatering I believe was the cause just wasn't wanting to come back and as it being an auto was just smarter to move on from that one. For the other 4 they are still doing well.

The remaining GDP I am eagerly waiting for the big stretch into flower I have a bunch of hairs showing have her spread out as best as I can with light penetrating good to each possible bud site.

The bag sees (Bigg Mamma) was topped beginning of the week. Really didn't seem to phase her to much. Once all three of the autos are in full flower I will flip her into flower as well and start my next process of germinating. A Northern lights auto Blueberry Kush auto and what ever the bonus seeds is courtesy of Fast Buds. Looking forward to the next journey.

As for the Sour Diesel X OG Kush they are definitely not doing the best one of the had a rough start coming out with only one cotyledon and the other I topped just to see what would happen lol.
