Interesting has this technique worked for you in the past or is it just something new that you are trying?

Something I’m trying out. I had a couple space heaters running but it racked my electric bill up quick.

Water and rocks both get hot when left in the sun, I think if I can get enough of them together it should have some sort of helpful effect.

I’ve read a couple articles about rock beds in greenhouse helping regulate temps ever so slightly. I really just need it to be like 10 degrees warmer at sundown.

I’ve had a lot more attempts than success tho

Oh cool well I know the guy that runs the Sun personally so if ya want I can ask him to turn it up a couple degrees for ya. We were buddies in college.

Today’s day 4, 3.5 since the greenhouse planting. Nothing has popped up. Yet!

Nothing has popped in my outdoor grow. Think they got frozen. Oops.

I’ll bet it gets close when they germinate! And I don’t think you’re growing pure rudaralis! The 95% that isn’t has a little bit of a say in this! L O L! Maybe they’ll pop up in the spring! Cyberia gets warm! But not for long!

Any seeds you put in the ground will be okay even if it's snows goes down to 30 below doesn't matter everything will be fine

I've done seeds outside in late fall watch it snow all winter and when the ground warmed up they popped up

They do have sites on the web that will tell you what your ground temperature is as we speak no lie

I use a digital meat, thermometer or food thermometer to check temps of water and soil when germinating and getting them started! Works pretty good!
