I put mine in at 7 to 10 days old into the 7 gallon pots ✌️
I was figuring around a week, they rooted decent in the cloner, I jumped them into the 3” pots to acclimate them from water roots over to soil. Once I know they took hold good and rooted out the pot, I figure a week and they should be good to plop into the 30’s I don’t plan to veg long they’ll be small plants for container size, I think I’m going to do a few runs with smaller plants mainly becUse I wanna get this run flowered out before summer, then Cover crop and mulch through the dead of summer, while I flower outside, then prep to start back up indoors for fall again, but we’ll see how the small plant idea goes, gotta time it right to stay on plant counts

Dude if you pre soak your pots properly you won't need to water for a month. It also forces them to search out water and grow huge roots.
It is really fun to experiment endlessly, definitely following this thread 👊

I’m kinda in multiple zones atm

Watered a bit yesterday it’s interesting to see how the water travels with the multiple sensor zones, it’s gunna be really interesting to water them the first run for sure, im definitely seeing the extended watering times even though there no plants in them yet

But I started off with 1.5 gallons each on the first day, then did .5 gallons per pot the next 3, for time into a zone of mid 30’s gave each another half gallon, little less in #1 but it still made a huge effect.

It’s a really cool challenge I’m happy to get involved with.

I'm curious as to how much clones go for in your area? $15-25 is what i think they were charging in my town.
They were $30 if I recall correctly in Tempe Arizona. The dispensaries don’t sell them… got to lock down the product I guess. Some guy who runs a barbershop was the only one I could find that sells them. They were good except one that ended up hermie. I have given up on clones because I don’t want other people’s pests coming with them.

Gotta say the sensors make it a shade nerve wracking at watering just because hot how much they jump even using the sprayer, then over a day or 2 watching the top layer reduce moisture and the bottom layer pick it up

Gunna make for a really cool way of controlling the “dryback” or less moist zones for her plant to eat drink and breathe

What’s properly?

I give out cuts for free for anyone local, but I’m the same I don’t take any cones In, even my own from outdoor

Makes sense you are saturating the sensor and the moisture is coming off the sensor. I am trying week4 watering under 25 and it’s under the next day. Pots won’t hold the moisture for me 🤷‍♂️

I offer them but the only gromies I have are here. Most of the time it’s I can’t do it because I got kids. My buddy tried a seed and when he put it outside his dog ate it.😂. My friend is considering it but he would have to grow in the garage and in 4 months we will be at 115 degrees outside not in his garage and his car will be in the garage.

Yep haha I have a few guys I know around but not many, I offer seeds and cuts, usually friends take seeds and neighbors take cuts

What size pots are you running in? And are they the grassroots lined pots? Or normal fabric pots? My normal fabric 12 gals were a 1.5-2 day full dry backs would take 2 gallons each without a drip of runoff

This one is 3-5 gallons plastic. They start pissing out everything after two gallons on all five plants. I ran 5 gallons through them with thatoneguyyouknow advice. Basically anything after the second gallon the pots pissed out. They also didn’t take any longer to dry back. They were at 18-24% the next day…. I don’t think there’s much soil left vs. roots in my instance. I will be up potting next round.

That’s the most likely scenario, like I said I was doing 1.5-2 gallons every 2 days, in 12 gallon pots, most likely you’re just all roots at this point,

How many cycles have you ran in them?

I’ve done a lot of reruns on soil but I’ve always emptied them out and fully reamened with my organic mix, this is gunna be a blast learning how to care for the soil long term how to feed and water etc

It was new soil veg through flower is the goal. Definitely running into some hiccups and learning that greatly appreciate the fucking up aspect.

Haha yep I expect some hiccups, witht he volume of soil to the plant size in anticipating I should be water till harvest, I won’t do that, I’ll keep the cover crop and top dresses going. After the 2nd run I think I’ll do a soil saturated paste test and see what she’s held, what built and what I may be becoming deficient in, kinda give me an idea of a direction to go with upcoming feeds and top dresses, what cover crop to run etc
