Andddd the kahunas have hit paydirt! Got em in quick, when I first picked up one of the pots a worm was hanging halfway out the bottom of it and pulled back up and in, man thnhis is fun dig the hole, worms everywhere

Roots look excellent for 4 days in the pot from the cloner

I usually find worms when I top dress, after watering the mites usually leave the soil temporarily too ✌️

copy : paste over from my other post to keep the topic current to all the updates 😁

Changed up the mother / clone tent position to another room, much nicer

Almost time to chop these old mothers down the clones have shown roots throught he bottom of 1/3 of the 4” pots once all 3 have roots the ones in the 2x4 will be compost food

With the main 3 spots filled with one of each of these now it’s just let them veg time

Humidity in the 4x8 and is low as hell but they look happy as shit so I’ll let it ride I hate humidifiers. Temp is good, I don’t have an temp / humidity sensor in the 4x4 that’s next in the list but I have the soil moisture levels, #3 is the 4x4 tent pot

Both of the kahunas seem to love the new pots nice and perky, color coming back into hem nice, switched them to 20/4 lighting, added in UV/IR 3 times per day in 1 hour increments just 1 bar under each light

Looking good Mike! Excited to hear the terp reports. I hear the organics bring out the funk heavy.

Appreciate the details!
I’m a huge fan of organic, I was doing mostly organic before, some plants for the ol fox farms, etc I may still do one here or there who knows, but at this point I’ve been looking at a earthbox as well (it’s in my cart 🤣) but I wanna get a few runs down and get comfortable with the grow style first lol
Awesome Mike been waiting for this run can’t wait to see how it turns out for ya I’m gunna go out on a limb here and say it will be top shelf excellence 😂👍
i hope so! Super excited to see how the grow goes, I wanted to stay ahead of the curve and have some of these things like the gnarly barley and build a flower etc on hand so I wasent chasing stuff later. Gunna pick up the craft blend and few other goodies but today they all got a FPF (fermented grain extract) and various types of amino acids

Here’s a list of what it does. I only watered 1 gallon split between the 3 pots at 1/2ml-gal, did foliar as well as soil evenly across the top of each pot with an extra spurt at the base of each plant

Organics Alive FPF is fermented plant and Non GMO grains. It is not mined or derived from mined sources. FPF is a powerful foliar inoculant and root drench with instant results. The elemental properties within its nature increases the plant’s ability to readily complex minerals and nutrients making them available to plant roots and easily absorbable through cell walls.

FPF is fermented grains liquid which we isolate and extract using a non-base method for pure and clean material containing no heavy metals.
FPF contains high levels of small molecule composition acids, amino acids, humic acid, minerals and enzymes. It is of low molecular weight. Because of its low molecular weight, it has the ability to readily bond minerals and elements into its molecular structure causing them to dissolve and become easily absorbed by plants.
  • FPF is organic and non-toxic.
  • Dissolves silica and magnifies the many benefits of this element.
  • Responsible for an increase in stomata opening and transpiration and assists plant respiration as well as improving the respiration of beneficial microorganisms.
  • Directly influences numerous enzymatic processes and stimulates the plant's immune system.
  • Beneficial for plant RNA & DNA.
  • Increase the activity of multiple enzymes.
  • Aid chlorophyll synthesis.
  • Enhances terpene profile and increase brix.
  • Increase crop yields.
  • Buffer soil pH.
  • Synthesize new minerals.
  • Stimulate plant metabolism.
  • Decompose silica to release essential mineral nutrients.
  • Detoxify various pollutants (pesticides, herbicides, etc.).

Usage

FPF can be used for all crops either as a foliar spray, through drip systems and soil drench.
  • 1ml per gallon soil drench.
  • 1ml per gallon foliar application.
  • 1 gallon per acre.

Decided to do it because the Frostette in the 4x4 looks ok on the top leaves I know she’s got roots, but she was the weakest of these 3 clones, she’ll be fine just think she needed a little pickle me up, so I fed the FPF foliar but the Kaunas are killin it definitely taking hold under the soil

Hell yeah!! That video was rad!
Thanks fam I love making videos 🤣 I like to make it interesting lol

You gotta try it! So nice to
Damn Mike, looking sweet! 🔥🔥🔥 Almost got me thinking about
going organic living soil... Not quite yet, but close. 💪😆🤣💨
just be able to spend all the time in n the top end of the plant, let the worms take care below the soil, it’s really more like having a bunch of big worm farms with the added benefit of the best lace to plant a pot plant possible 😜🤣🤣🤣

Make yourself some aloe Vera fpj. It seems to help root growth during veg. Also check out the city picker pots they sell at Home Depot. I like the dimensions better for in my tents.
Hell yeah! Aloe Vera FPJ I don’t have but I do have Horticultural aloe powder I just got

BAS is great but I think growing an aloe plamr amd harvesting fresh aloe is superior. BAS is they spot to buy living soil stuff but I know you like doing things yourself so figured I would suggest it ✌️

Oh I will be haha, just gotta get going, worm bins and all are coming gunna try the 2 bin style one for veg one for flower

Between that and cover crop, I do microgreens, so when I do runs of microgreens I’ll dump the leftovers in as well as a fresh compost so broccoli and raddish and lettuce stalks and roots and some medium, just plain peat moss (promix usually but I’ll be changing to plain peat no perlite) I want to just buy more plain lambert Canadian peat and some rice hulls for aeration

The aloe fpj is really easy to make. Cut up aloe weigh it add equal amount brown sugar. Put it in a jar with a paper towel over the top let ferment for a week or so. Strain and use at 1000:1 ratio with water. 3ml to a gallon.

Always on top of stuff, looks like a good plan 👊
BAS has free courses in their site fyi

Hey Mike I used this coconut water powder and blackstrap molasses to help the microbes. From what I understand with living soil is we need the microbes to break down the organic matter so the plants can uptake the nutrients.
