Hi All,

I just wanted to say that I'm happy to be a part of the community! This forum came up in my searches more than others and clearly has very experienced growers who are generous with their knowledge.

2x Autoflower Gummibears (Atlas Seed)
Paper towel > Jiffy pellet > Solo Cup (coco/perilite) > 3.9g Autopot (coco/perilite)
70/30 Mother Earth Coco coir (buffered using Dr. MJ Coco method), Canna Coco nutes, RO Water, GH Calimagic, GH Armor Si, Extreme Gardening Mykos

Thank you!

If it’s your first run with autos I would suggest going strait to your final pot with the germinated seeds. No time to recover from transplants

Peat Pellet then to final pot - the solo has no purpose, its just an added step that could be detriment for a new gardener? as @Newbgrower1 said.

Photoperiods up-potting is "best practices" and has great value! This is the Way!

*I up-pot my Auto's, but I have Transplanted thousands of Plants, mine dont even know they've been moved...not advised to new growers!

Thanks! I'm definitely going to remove a transplant. I was considering removing the pellet portion and going from 12 hours in water to the solo cup, then to the final pots. I was concerned about the peat pellet causing issues inside the coco (overfeeding). Being new and not understanding how the pellet would hold nutes/water vs the coco surrounding it.

Should I not be concerned about overfeeding the pellet inside the coco?

No concerns, just leave it in the Pellet - (if you add the pellet to dry coco it will suck that pellet dry) - Always pre moisten all of your coco in a different bucket with pH'd water (moist - not wet) then fill your Pot(s) - add the pellet to the moistened coco - you should have no issues, If its all pre moistened, you wont need to water again for a week (or more) - a sprout/seedling has a single tap root - she cant uptake much water, this is where a lot of new growers will fail - over-watering seedlings - after they grow out their 1st serrated leaves and are photosynthesizing, add water outside the edges of the pellet and outward -
(weve had new growers on here that said "I was told to water my coco every day" - this is true, but not with seedlings!)
