Hello all - I saw this forum looks rather active so I'm hoping someone can assist me. I have 4 Dante's inferno plants being grown in my 4x4 under a floraflex 700w light that fits wall to wall. Everything is AC infinity brand(fans, humidifier etc) so that all parameters can be kept steady at all times for the most part.

-Cocoloco soil
-Fox farm nutrients as per their chart
-Bottled spring water PH'ed between 5.8-6.4
-the light was set to 50% which kept temperatures at ~80f. I could only check the par with the photone app but it looked to be within a good range.
-I defoliated them 5 days prior, it seems the problems started after that.
-I moved the sick plant from the back of the tent to the front, it hasn't been sitting beside the humidifier nor does it ever really kick on now.

I thought maybe they've been growing upright quickly and the 50% might have been too intense so I did drop it to 25% today. The other 3 plants were praying like never before after I did that. I'm thinking this MIGHT be the issue but I really have no idea as this is my second grow.

The room also gets quite cold at night as the insolation in the room is not the best (60f at the lowest but I run a space heater).

Can anyone identify what's going on with it? I also noticed the same brown spots starting to show on my other girls.

Welcome to the farm.

The purple color is most likely due to the low temperature. So, the first thing I'd do is keep them warmer. A heater in the tent helps. I have one in all my tents and their controller is set to 72º. 65º is the minimum that's commonly recommended (but I think that's a bit low). During the plant's day, high 70s is usually recommended.

Let the plants respond to the warmer temperatures for a few days to a week and watch for other problems, if there are any.

Running the light at 50% should be okay.

I wonder if you're having a calcium issue growing in coco loco. I use that and have had cal deficiency.

i read the other day that coco holds onto a lot of calcium magnesium , so its always good to add some

just looking at those leaves that looks a bit like led light burn to me , i had it a few weeks ago . if it was calcium deficiency i think it would be brown spots but random all over the plant, the leaf edges curling up also makes me think its too light stressed. Also when a plant is light stressed it stops the uptake of potassium (and possibly nitrogen) which is why your new growth is coming out bright green, i bet if you turned the light down they would start going back to a more healthy colour .
