Started a new strain. California Octane. Supposed to grow big, goofy buds that make ya giggle before ya imbibe....

This might be fun.

Ok. So, a what I assume is a spider mite infestation has taken hold over the last week. Guess that wasn't dust on the leaves. I need some idears for gettin rid of these lil bastids. Can't go catch any lady bugs so...what do I do to reign these little guys in?

I’ve never used anything with Water! But people should chime in here! Or you can Google it! There’s a lot of things you can douse your plants with! Especially if you’re still in veg .In flower You have to be a little more careful. If they are mobile, repeated trips into the shower, might get things under control!

Yea. This plant just started veg a week or so ago. Just sprouted it. The google box says neem, or some other organic stuff. I know ladybugs would work...haha. These things showed up quick.

Guess they are prolly from the pro mix I used too. Them pesky flies.....grrrr....

If they are small enough, you can mix up whatever you’re going to spray on them and dip them in it instead of spraying them to ensure complete coverage! I don’t know where they come from! Sometimes it seems like the immaculate conception! A couple of my plants outdoors had a real good trip infestation! I think it wound up making the weed more potent! L O L! Thinking about using thrips in my grow strategy!

Aphids are not easy to beat, the first picture you showed is the exoskeleton which means you have all stages of aphids
life present. As young as the plants are I’d kill and start over clean.

Well, so far the flyers are all but gone, and I have been not so worried about "trimming" the heavily encrusted fans off. I have been using Neem and a few other essential oil things, but I think just hosing them off with a spray bottle jet with coffee filters at the base to catch the lil bastids when they fall off, has darn near eradicated them. I am also learning that you can indeed trim on these things, and welp, they don't seem to mind too much as long as you do it slow....couple leaves every few days or somethin...when they get heavily covered on the bottom. They ain't on the new growth, just the lower leaves that were shady underneath. I also have fans going, and since my room is in a basement and it is Minnesota, I have the temps dropped down to about 65 degrees in there for now, which also slowed them way up, and the plant seems ok for now.

I like a challenge. We'll see.

The borg has anyone actually defeated these fellas my run before last I hit them with pyrethrum didn't do much tbh ended up with nice weed. But full of bugs

Welp. A week or so in and I gotta say......I say 1 bigger aphid running down the stalk and 4 eggs on the under side of a leaf. Cut that leaf off. Nowhere else did I find any signs of aphids.

Crazy considering they were crazy outta control!

Neem works. Takes a while. Plus, I was takin the big fans with eggs off. "Defoliating" in the process. Plant is growing like crazy.

Maybe things are lookin up!

Will seven dust do it want me to check the bottle they have powder also I think that works .

Just helping you identify them bugs. The little white things on the top are tomato aphids and the ones on the underside are peach aphids. They are such assholes they don't even need a mate to produce offspring. For me, Lambda has worked when Neem and Spinosad couldn't get the job done.
