advice from @Captspaulding.

Hey bro, I need some ideas on what to do
with this cluster-fuck in my 4x8 tent, those
4 land race plants are going ape shit. b4
lights out this morning, I had 2 tops up to
the lights. Fast forward 12 hrs and a bunch
are now up to the lights.

On a positive note, Betty Lou has been
smelling like Pine-Sol. When I opened her
up tonight there were definite undertones
of coffee, very pleasing on the palette. I
hope it holds.

if anyone has a plan for that its def captain. ive cut my columbian back like 4 times over the winter and its already like 5ft tall again lmao. Ive been trickle feeding her at like 200ppm on a feed water water schedukle and she still wont calm down.

The only sure fire way ive come across to tame sativa labnd races indoors for flowering is have like 6+ feet of vertical space to work with.

Im keeoping the columbian around because i want her clones outside this year too.

Sativa land races indoor in hydro? Your a mad man. I flipped a 12 week old columbian bush to flower in DWC back in kc, and flash forward another 12 week and a 5x6 under 1kw hps was packed to the brim. I stopped weighing the ounces after 2lbs. Shit there was prob a half pound of straight popciorn from that one plant. I maxed out the 6ft i had to work with between bucket and hood too. Thing was topped and trained repeatedly as well.

That was the last time i had a landrace sativa flowering indoors. Def the last time i stick one in hydro. Theyre bonkers. Im waaaaay too lazy a grower myself for all that.

If it were me though, and i didnt need to flower them immediately, id just cut all the main meristems back several nodes, and thin the tops a bit once recovered. If you need to flower them soon, well, Good luck and Godspeed sir!

Me personally? Never again lmao. Can never find the harvest shots when i want to, but there deep down there on my profile somewhere lmao. this was the columbian land race.

In hydro indoors, i shit you not, the columbian stretches for a month straight then stacks for at least 2. She would easily quintuple in size. My outdoor columbian dominant pheno last summer started from seed in spring hit 14ft tall and pulled over 3lbs. the plant was like 6 months old at harvest.

i dont have pics of it, but that one wasnt the first columbian i did in hydro indoors.

I flowered the first female next to 3 gg4 plants. Mistake. Same size going in, but before stretch was even done the main colas of the columnbian had gone past the hood at its highest and were like 6 inches from the ceiling. I tied them over with twine to get em back into the light. The one thing the columbians *never* did though, was light burn under HPS, they would bleach before they burned if you had adequate cooling.

My how times have changed. It's just interesting to see how far we've come from "reefer madness"

So let me get this straight, on tv this detective says that they’re importing , growing and selling marijauna. Which means they cross a border with the plant at some point and then grow it out to harvest in Canada and then sell it in Canada. The same detective comments on how nice and sticky the buds are.🤣🤣

In a situation like that, bro, I’d be super cropping everything but you know I don’t know how confident you are in using the practice and it looks like it would take you a year but you know if you run out of headroom also, you know if you don’t absolutely have to be in a tent, you can just peel the roof back and then try to figure out a way to rig the light higher above the framing of the tent buy you a little bit real estate

Thanks for the reply & ideas, I've already flipped to flower and am in full-on bud set.
I'm thinking about cutting them way back, but I'm worried about stressing them out
too much. For the time being, I think I'll just super crop them & hope the stretch is
almost over. And the thing is, is that neither are Sativa's, the Hash Plant is supposedly
90% Indica and the Northern Lights is supposedly closer to 100% Indica. That was the
whole reason that I planted them, is I figured they'd be short and squat, and would
be good companions for my squatty clones. 🤷‍♂️🤜😆💨

She has a wild bubbly structure. Super fat calyxes. Rock hard dense buds but she's so bubbly she has these wild looking gaps in the structure. Def not worried about her weight tho she's so hard.

@Captspaulding get her in the right light all of a sudden all her buds are *strikingly* purple when they looked green 2 seconds ago too. Really cool plant. One of my favorites I have rn.

Plant with a pearlescent paint job, looks different from every angle 😍🤣
Ohni gotsta git me some of that bio lumenessance herb man.
You breeding that hoski? Yoski?

Damn y’all, I think I’m gonna hit 1.75 grams per watt on this harvest coming up. 2 grams per watt I don’t think so, but it is a real possibility..
When the crow caws westward in the dew of morning in the fjord, we shall see.

You throw down.
You got that shit.

Oh one other thing man when you get a tent packed like that with some plants that respond insanely well to light penetration I know it almost seems futile after a point with explosive growth like that but either way.
Anytime you have something going on like that where you know that’s the equivalent of you know bush 1965🤣 is 100% increasing airflow below the canopy. It’s almost more important than decent circulation on the top side and situations like that and depending on where you’re at in flower you can do a heavy defol you know as long as it’s within two weeks of harvest, sometimes three weeks because shit man you stress a plant out at that point it’s not gonna matter because it’s not gonna produce much in the way of seeds in such a small window of time

I have no problem super cropping and I'm not gentle about it
with the rolling technique and all the subtle crap, I just pinch'm
flat and bust'm over. I do it just prior to lights out and the tops
are pointed back up when the lights come back on. Problem is,
is there is no place to bend them over to, no matter what I do,
I'll be covering something up. I guess I'll just go for it. worst
case scenario, I guess I'll just cut them way back and pollinate
what's left and at least get some seed out of the deal.

The fucked up leaves are a just getting worse and worse. The rear left one was the only one without any burned tips. I swear that one the leaves have gotten worse since this morning. Something happened with them over a week ago. Four fuckups . Anyway corrected the heat problem.
IMG 3588
The special queen in the right isn’t showing such a rapid yellowing or the burnt tips the other ones developed, although that started some weird damage week 1 of flowering but it stopped progressing.🤷‍♂️.

this m86 i named lil nips has a nice pretty fade on one leaf but two others are showing the same ugly yellow browning. I flipped 1/12 they were pre flowering within a a day or two. Looks like the clones may have taken so I will have a second chance. I was looking at some of my previous grows and it seems like they all have had some of the same things only later in flower. I am really determined to resolve it. I am calling the leaf tip burn blistering because that’s what it appears like when the tips really fade out. I didn’t notice the same thing on the bigger pots.

Do you think you got over 100 g out of that 1 gallon?
Down the road after your cure. Let me know that way if you remember
I have a couple of times but it’s relatively rare. The only time that I did it was when I had 4 1/2 foot clones that I let veg forever and they got about 4 1/2‘ 5 feet tall. There are 2 3 g in there too, the rest ate 1s

I think it’s potassium bro, and 100% at the You know there are strains out there that also demand a little bit of nitrogen so I think you have a combination of a lack of both of those nitrogen. I’ve seen get toxic 1 million times with the heavy hand, but I’m telling you, it’s incredibly hard to overdose cannabis plants with potassium they eat that shit up in flour

That’s what I have been leaning towards…. Which I just gave them potassium today, I keep an eye on it. Would the affected leaves show worse if it was locked out after adding potassium? The rear left one seemed at least. I could add some more castings for nitrogen. Some of those pots are full. I appreciate you chiming in. I sent you a pm asking about the flower time on those m86 btw.
