There's been a lot of newer faces myself included over the last year. Rollitup is becoming a much more constricting place then it used to be, socially anyway, as are many other social platforms. RIU also just went through a major data center issue because of a natural disaster and the entire sit has been down for a bit now so lots of even more recent new handles too.

I much prefer it here though, definitely my favorite e-cannabis community to date. I dont know you but welcome back anyway!

Thats what my tele with a bridge piezo is for. 51' esquire fat U profile. Its a lot like the old 60s D series martin fat necks if youve ever played one. I got tired of maintaining environment for high end acoustic guitars about 10 years ago sadly. Is even more important with the old ones that are actually good.

If i had an old vintage martin or gibson it wouldnt be out on display, it would be in a case in a small room kept very precisely climate controlled. Ive played a few too many beautiful old acoustics that just wont play, let alone intonate beyond the 7th fret to not be paranoid about it, and im a noodly player that uses the entire fretboard. Piezo electrics for me if im after that satisfying strum sound.


The tele is African mahogany, canadian maple and ebony though, it sounds and feels a LOT better strummed unplugged then you'd think 😉🤙

This melted my heart. There was a knock on the door and I thought oh shit it's the cops, hide the plants! I opened the door to be greeted by five little kids and their grandpa who stayed back on the sidewalk. They were really little and I only heard them say "Valentines cards," and so typical grumpy me said what, are you selling valentines day cards or asking for donations? And they giggled and said no, we just want to wish you a happy Valentines Day! And they handed me these little homemade cards they made. Brought a tear to my eye and now I'm suffering from a really bad case of cardiomegaly.

I'm using the same supplemental lighting for both veg and flower and it just kinda all works out. They're all out in the sun all day. Then at sunset the budding plants go in the shed for a couple extra hours of light. Then at bedtime the flowers come out and the vegging plants go in all night for midnight sun. It works out the veggies get 19/5 and the flowers get true 12/12 through the winter Equinox. But the veggies don't get a solid 8 hours of artificial light. I have it set to go off for an hour halfway through for the sole reason the manufacturer suggests you shut it off for 15 minutes after 7 hours of running. The plants don't seem to mind one bit the schedule being broken up like it is, nor does it seem to bother them with a mix of natural and artificial light. It's just not a set and forget style of growing.

Also i managed 48 hours of t-break, i feel good, but cant wait to smoke my own again.
