Depends on how clear or heavy you want your high i guess. I like mine nice n heavy, so i personally would wait longer. But if you want a really clear headed feeling, maybe in a couple days or a week. Hard to tell without seein a bit more of the plant haha but i agree with @Phyto, most look clear or slightly cloudy. I see like maybe 2% amber in there. And just barely amber haha

What kind is it? :)

Thanks for the insight guys. Its an Type: 70% Indica - 20% Sativa - 10% Ruderalis. Autoflower choco kush. I must say the buds are very small and larfy compared to the last one.

Since i have the time, ill wait atleast a week or 2 and will check again for my own experience. See how real amber trichs will look like.

It’s strain-dependent.

Terp development and timing for harvest can affect cure and final aroma and effect. Some strains lose a lot of terps if you take em too far. Some need the extra time.

Makes shit even more confusing that dry and cure process will have add a layer of complexity.

With new varietals, it makes sense to take the time and risk to harvest some early and some later and see how they smoke dried and cured.

Some strains lose a lot of flavor if harvested 50% cloudy. It’s a general guideline for noobs.

BTW, looks more than 50% cloudy.

After reading ur comment i cut some branches and gonna cut some more every week in the span of 2,3,4 weeks

That could be too much, you might keep her in a state of stress. Maybe. I like to trim as few times as possible lol so i could be wrong

Understand where you coming from. Cuz this plant produced a lot of larfy airy buds, i dont mind to experiment now. Especially for the knowledge I might gain for the future plants

Yeah… don’t take branches. It will stress the plant and could cause it to herm or the buds won’t fill out.

When breeding I usually pinch little nugs from the bottom that wouldnt fill out anyways as soon as I smell something. Stuff you would pinch normally. A gram or 2 for each week. Dry and cure and wait till you have a few weekly samples. Resist the urge to smoke until you can compare smell in the jar, the buds when you crack them open, and then the flavors and aroma of the smoke.

Cleanse your pallet between samples. Score and take notes between the different steps. If you really want to nerd out, create criteria beforehand for each step. It’s really hard to do this stoned and in the moment.

For example, I use excel… lets me track and compare over time, including against prior grows. Excel really is powerful for this type of stuff.

Just remember the older samples will usually smoke smoother because they have a longer cure. If you adjust nutes or flush the final week, that may also affect your preference. Potency and effect may also vary.

It’s not an exact science, or the answer to everything. It does help create results-oriented standards. There may be compromises, and you may prioritize things differently. I look at flavor, sillage, and effect over outright potency. You may feel differently.

Hope that helps.

Ive got some data in excel. Thanks for all the helpful tips. Will update in about a week or 2 :D

An auto at 110 days(15 weeks), is pretty much dealers choice at that stage, she's ready whenever you are. With a 70% Indica I wouldn't be looking to add any more couchlock to it. Even up to 50% amber you will still have clear ones, clear doesn't mean empty of THC. The plant is ripe when it clouds up, not when it turns amber, amber is degradation of THC happening, into CBN, ie over ripening. It's a wrinkly skinned apple, versus one with hard shiny skin. It's all personal choice of course, but I go for the first confirmed ambers on the central bud, but in shade of the light, as done enough for me. I cut at a theoretical 1% amber (minus the sugar leaves I trim off), and after I dry it for a couple of weeks, and look at it again, there's about 10% amber on it anyway. So my rule of thumb is, whatever your amber is at when you cut it, add about another 10% on top of that by the time you're smoking it.

Damn stoner you forgot the pictures 🤣😂🤣😂

Iv done that so many times its crazy hahaha

Dang you deleted your post now i look insane hahahaha cant wait to see how she turned out man!

Apologies, life was in the way. Here are the pics from the harvest from last friday. Def some more amber (obviously) compared to 15 feb.

Getting there! Looking great! : )

I see mostly clear with a few amber on a leaf here and there.

A picture of the plant would be handy trichs are a great gauge of maturity.

Alrdy harvested the whole plant. First half on 14 Feb, the rest last friday. There were no difference in size as the buds didnt grow bigger in the last few weeks. Plant was 109 days old when i harvested half at 14 feb.
