Hi guys

I’m struggling with this plant it’s a little over a week since sprouting everything started brill but seem to have hit a shit point

It’s a new grow room (used to use a tent) and a new light mars hydro tsl2000

It’s dropping really bad and not growing much can’t work it out

The soil looks wet in the pic as I had just phd some water between 6-7 as in bio bizz light mix and fed it

Im wondering if the lights been to strong had it about 50cm and at 50% as struggling to get it Lower to the plant says 30cm on the website and 25%

Any advice be greatly appreciated

TIA

50cm is likely too close at 50% of that light.

Also, why did you pH your water? Was it because of a runoff test prior? What did you feed it?

I think your soil is fine for starting seedlings without feeding, but I'm not terribly familiar with it.

Hi I have moved the light now so hoping that’s the issue have you ever seen anything like that before??

I phd it because it was bottled water was a little bit high the soil mix says keep it between 6-7 so just put a bit of bio bizz ph down into lower it so it’s get use out of the mild nutrients in the soil if that’s right??

Ah, I see... Yeah if your water was alkaline to begin with then that makes sense.

Moving the light up (even if the distance and intensity was correct) is a good move for now to give her a chance to relax and recover. Now to figure out what's going on... Over-fed? Over watered?

Yeh I’ve give it a lift up I’ve not fed any nutes as to early unless the ones in the soil are a bit warm 🤔 guessing just keep everything crossed lol 🤞🤞

stick a thermometer in the soil, if its below 18 oc forget it, stick a heat pad under it and it will grow, the heat will also allow a lot of that extra water to evaporate...we all overwater at the start , its taken me 2 years to re-learn watering and to even get seeds popped, they love it warm and moist , but not hot and wet

With a temp probe, they really help a lot to maintain soil temp for germination or even seedling growth in cooler temps/winter.

Germination

Lower the lights a bit on the first plant look how long the stem is for that age also less water see how they are bending over oioi joking put it under the vegetation lights and wait to more leafs grow on it should have a few more leafs but the poor thing needs closer to the lights looks healthy other than spraying to much water on it if you want to spend time with it talk to it it’s loves 02

I haven’t got any vegetation lights though?? I’ve moved it up and turned it right down will this not be good enough? Not used to these bloody LED lights

Led is what I meant that’s the veggie state lights
You really want to get sodium hay lights for flowering around about 300 to 400 the bigger the room the more watt and bigger buds you will get watt light you want you also got to take fact of temperature too you want it around 55 to 65

You want the led close has possible 15 to 30 inch’s

Brill it’s sat at about 18-20inch now but I’ve dimmed it down to 25% will that be ok??

I really don’t like the look of that pot black plastic with heaps of holes be better is that clay? In that pot be very very careful how much u water fully saturated u won’t need to water for 3-4 days untill nice and light other that that they lookin ok more plants are killed with love than neglect dont blast it with light 25% be fine for now just concentrate on watering practices good luck with it mate👍

No it’s just a light coloured plastic pot it’s was just the one the seeds started in they are being moved just big plastic pots at some point when they have grown a bit but both of them have plenty of holes in

I’ve ordered a heat mat and lifted the light try dial everything in so wel see how we get on now 🤞🤞

Hi guys I’ve got the heat pads underneath but the bottom of the pots feel really hot on it with them being plastic I’m worried will this be a problem??
