Man oh man that's rough been there and experienced it many times without power when i lived in the woods. But i had a wood stove and we had a generator. But i never grew indoors then just summer outdoors. And it still freaks me out doing tents during winter here in town. Man so sorry but kinda looks like they made it through OK?
Lol, that's me... Live in the woods, frequent outages, wood stove, generator that is always ready to go ๐Ÿ˜. But, I wouldn't have it any other way!

Flowers
On the table
I'm seeing wilting of leaves mostly the lower leaves. All of these are day 20 with lights at 12/12, except for 3 GSC crosses which are on day 27.
All seem to be looking about where I would expect.

That sucks for sure. Sending good vibes for quick recovery!

It looks like you escaped a major setback! All of that looks salvageable! You may get some hermies now but that's a good way to weed out the stragglers.

Such a great lesson for any inexperienced growers reading this thread who may panic too soon!

We went from city to country at 60, there's a learning curve for sure but my wife knew she was home when a friendly neighbor pulled into the driveway to welcome us. And a happy wife makes a happy life.

Yeah, I hope so. The next few days will tell the tale and your spot on about hermies. The search for the holy grail never ceases.

Remember this too dude Indica like to be close to lights when in veggie state itโ€™s less stress on stem and better energy when in flowering Sativa likes to be far away when in veggie state get netting so it donโ€™t stretched for the light on your next grow

The stretch you see is from a switch from LED to HPS, thanks for the tip. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I defoliated and pruned the plants on the drain table today. After inspecting them well I would say they are about a week behind due to the cold and no lights. So I will adjust my flowering schedule accordingly. I defoliated only because I'm pretty sure they are done stretching.

Well the buds still look incredible!! Don't think it'll all that big a deal for the younger ones flowering. Looked as though to strip em down pretty good around 21 days into flower.

Worst case scenario, chop them a little sooner than expected....allow more 'spice of life' after a little seed shopping!!

How many damn blankets do ya need to stay warm at 30ยฐ?? Im in Ontario, Canada and uses to celsius. Im in the city too, so we don't lose power very often and of it happens....back up within a few hours.

32ยฐ F is freezing point. So them are nights when I am extra glad to have a wife to keep the bed warm.
I seemed to have done alright thru the outage. Thankfully!
Thanks for looking and all the Love.

Not sure how Iโ€™ve missed this thread for this long but very nice setup and beautiful plants youโ€™ve got there ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘โœŒ๏ธโœŒ๏ธโœŒ๏ธโœŒ๏ธ

I'm in eastern Ontario myself but in a small rural town. We get the odd outage that will last for up to 12 hours, but maybe a few times a year. I invested in a battery backup system that runs my whole tent and setup. It'll run everything for around 48 hours on a full charge. Wasn't cheap, but I think of it as insurance considering, as you well know, what our winters are like.

Cheers,

BA.

Thats a great investment on your...........
Investment!? Lol. What type of battery back do ya have? I have never really looked into that type of thing before

lol. Exactly.

It's definitely overboard for what I'm currently doing, but I bought it to run an aeroponic grow initially. Was advised by a friend to do a few grows first, to get used to the tent, house, over all environment before trying my hand at something as potentially disastrous as aeroponics. This UPS (uninterruptable power supply) is a "pure sine wave" model, so it can handle digital timers, good for down to the second. Apparently they don't work with "step sine wave" power sources. They'll turn a timer on, but then not off, or vice versa. This particular model is 1440VA / 1080W and cost me almost $750 CDN. Like I said initially, I think of it as an investment, mostly as after a couple more grows to iron out the flaws, I'm planning on trying an aero grow system.

Here's a link to the unit on Amazon, where I got it.

Cheers,

BA

Well its worth every penny when the hydro goes out and you have a bunch of plant roots hanging around in aero!!!
Thanks for the link ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ
