No I am in ill. Now I did some in wash and Arkansas now IL .I have done inside.but gave 2 of them to neighbor.she just sat them outside let them get water or not type attitude they did their thing we killed one boy all mine indoors died from a little bug in the dirt she gave me

Yeah! Amend during the winter! Have to replace some of what they chow down on during the summer and fall! That is a tough place to grow! Googled closed Loop! That’s pretty ambitious! Good luck with it!👍 I don’t have enough summers left to blow a few fine-tuning, something like that!

Man sounds bad, thanks for looking. They don't really need any attention, i don't mind a lil traing and I do top and relieve the girls from any yellow :)

Ahhh yes winter! I will, again but with more of a plan, keep roots in my soil year round coupled with chop and drop :)


What do you do over winter exactly?? And what zone??

I was pretty upset about that little bug not sure it is gone yet .

Also, I'm all in on being steward of soil thus it, for me, means cultivating soil over several years--- think plants before human interaction just with a lil training:)

Oh and as far as closed loop I mean water and all compost materials that's literally my only inputs :)

I intend to breed for seeds bruce banner and overall cultivate this particular variety over several years in the same soil! Very exciting

.y own foraged compost and companion plants starting in April, in June/ July ill plant cover crops to keep the cycle going

I did inside last year and I can see myself doing it again but for now I want to do natural plants. This year will be my 1st 100% natural outdoor grow! Very excited! I have some hydro nutes if interested for shipping--- maybe a few other things for hydro grow

Ah yes oh I don't throw my dirt away.have you ever thought of coffee grounds..
I add coffee grounds to my dirt old used and rinsed, to my dirt ,so far I can't see it has hurt them any.helps with not having to add the perilitele.

I read an article about the Chinese I think we're experimenting with things to do with used coffee grounds .like mixing it with cement .to see if they could build with it.and how long it would last.
That is what made me start using them.

Empty the pots out into a pile roots and all! They stay! Then add four or five bags of chicken, compost, some worm, castings, crushed oyster shell, bonemeal, dolomite, lime, kelp meal, Gypsum, Possibly blood meal! Add it all to 300 gallons of reused soil and stir it up and let it sit for three or four months! Oh, and I forgot the most important part! Make sure it has adequate perlite in it! Northern Sacramento Valley! Extremely hot and dry! Perfect! L O L

Sure, a small amount of grounds go into my compost. I'm a huge fan of worms and have several absolute studs in my 2 pots--- their 1st winter. I'm hoping they have survived--- and we are getting more snow tomorrow. I've insulated these pots with leaves and some straw. It's been above 40 for the most part but I'm looking at 19 tonight into tomorrow morning. Keep your fjnghies

Hmmm not sure how that would work with the grounds being organic material. They are deff. Beneficial tho. They are essentially biomass that compost/ decompos which feeds the bacteria in turn producing nutes for the goals:) also fyi, check out the fermentation used by some Korean farmers it's very interesting

How about used riced coffee grounds would make more acidic ,but doesn't seem to hurt them
.
